[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 108102] Alignment and wrapping error for a file created by EPP Plus C# library

2018-05-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108102

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

2018-05-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117840

Bug ID: 117840
Summary: Layer properties visible/printable/locked are wrong in
watch window
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: Inherited From OOo
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: BASIC
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de

Created attachment 142321
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142321=edit
Document with macro to reproduce the bug

open attached document. It contains a macro to read the layer properties
visible, printable and locked. It has a toolbar to easily access the macro and
to open the Basic IDE.
Run the macro. Compare the text in the message with the actual setting of the
layer. The text should be correct.

Now open the IDE and set a break point at the msgbox line. Run the macro again.
(You might need to run the macro a second time to trigger the break point.)
Watch the variable oLayout. The properties IsLocked, IsPrintable and IsVisible
are always "false", regardless of the actual setting.

if line width is set to 0.00 cm, libreoffice displays as if it's larger.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117838] VIEWING: Showing a picture on full screen will cause a vertical scrollbar to appear

1079 px height setting

Of course it does. But then the image does not fill the whole screen, there
will be 1 px space to the bottom, and to the left and right (I changed the
image control's background color to green, so it is more visible in the
attached screenshot.)

It is not just this 1 px I am concerned about, but because the program needs to
resize the picture, it will load much slower.

Yep, the status thing is a bit of a user experience glitch in the default
Bugzilla template. WFM is hidden behind RESOLVED, while we really should just
move them to be single statuses.

however the scrollbar is still there.

Beta versions don't modify user registry by default; the beta's installer has
WRITE_REGISTRY property set to 0. That allows users to install the betas in
parallel to a release version, and not ruin the system.

If you need to modify system settings, then run the installation using

msiexec /i path\to\LibreOfficeDev_6.1.0.0.beta1_Win_x64.msi WRITE_REGISTRY=1

To see the problem, one has to enable Java and macros.

This is not a bug. The form is actually a text document, with elements
(paragraphs of text, images, controls etc.) being placed relative to one
another using usual layout riles. In this specific case, the image is anchored
to page, positioned from the very top of the page, and its wrapping set to Page
wrap (so the only (empty) paragraph present on the form should be placed to a
free place outside of the image).

If you set the wrap to Wrap Through, the positioning will be as you want (but
the paragraph will be over the image - don't know if that's what you need).

Bug ID: 117839
Summary: Dev_6.1.0.0.beta1_Win - File extension type
associations fail to register in Windows
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha1+
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Installation
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: ekber...@hotmail.com

Description:
After installation of LibreOfficeDev_6.1.0.0.beta1_Win_x64 no LO file
extensions were registered in Windows and most document files i open with
Writer and Calc are unrecognized. It is possible to manually associate file
types to the corresponding .exe module, however LibreOffice's thumbnail
generation does not work.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Standard installation
2. Didn't deselect any file associations
3. OS restart

Actual Results:
Most of the file types used by LO is unknown by Windows and is by default read
by other software from the Windows OS.

Expected Results:
File types associated with LO are recognized by Windows
AND automatic thumbnail generation works.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Image on full screen

I am testing on a Full HD screen, Windows 10.
If I size the image so that it appears 1079 px high, the scrollbar can be
avoided. However, if I slowly increase the height, there will soon be a
scrollbar at a height of 28548 1/100 mm (the picture is still 1079 px high).
The image fits the full height for the first time at 28560.
It is a bug, and I have not found a workaround either.
I looked through the properties of ThisComponent,
ThisComponent.CurrentController.Frame.ComponentWindow and
ThisComponent.CurrentController.Frame.ContainerWindow, and found nothing
related to scrollbars, and there is no option to set the page content height
either.

@Heiko, The preview I was referring to are the ones in Attachment_1 and
Attachment_2, What you were referring to is the one in Attachment_3. It makes
sense in Preview of in Attachment_3 to see all levels relative to one another.
But in the Attachment 1 and 2, I would expect see only the Selected Level and
not all levels.

It can be made to show a preview how the selected level with multiple lines and
following text would look like in Attachment_4. What are your opinions.

My argument here is that, relative positional relationship between different
Headings is available in the Numbering Tab. So in the Position tab we can show
only the required level, with more detailed information.

Hello @ll,
not sure, if I have have chosen the right component and when this bug first
appeared in LO (cannot start my older LO versions for any reason ... :( ), but
I found the following:

1. Install LO in parallel as described on
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux
2. start LO
3. go to "Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Application Colors" and click on
dropdown menu on the right
4. change the colour palette from "standard" to "tonal"

You will see a couple of white colours where you would expect the actual colour
... :( I will attach a screenshot later to this bug.

2018-05-27 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Status: UNCONFIRMED

  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142310=edit
Scrollbars in dialog and text box. See macro.

Scrollbars on form dialog and text box are not fully functional.

- In a dialog, it scrolls only 1 px, when clicked in the shaft, instead of a
full page
- If I only set the vertical scrollbar, it does not extend to the bottom of the
dialog, as if it would need to give space to a horizontal scrollbar too.
- In the dialog editor it can be set to None, Horizonal, Vertical or Both, but
it cannot be made automatic, so it only appears, if the Scroll height exceeds
the height of the dialog, and in the macro, setting the VScroll property of the
dialog model has no effect. The same applies to text boxes' scrollbars. Setting
the scrollbar by macro only has effect, if I open the form in design mode.

Try the attached example.

retested with LibO 6.0.4.2

finally I can tell that the incomplete display of the autocorrect list is gone
if you scroll down at normal speed (it happens again if you croll up & down at
crazy speed but it's not a normal user scenario)

most important, the random data loss when saving new autocorrect items seems
finally gone.

this was very frequent under Win8.1 x64 using 5.3.7.2 but has never happened
again with latest 6.0.4.2 which I tested in the last day.

so finally, RESOLVED WORKSFORME
