[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115464] UI of export to PNG and JPG misleading for resolution
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115464 --- Comment #16 from Heiko Tietze --- Created attachment 142672 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142672=edit Mockup for the dialog (In reply to Regina Henschel from comment #15) > So please change the mockup to have separate > width and height fields in category 'Pixels'. Different units are available right now via dropdown. If we remove the total numbers of pixels the dialog looks a bit overcomplicated; taking Tomaz comment into account that the dpi value is rather an advice we could drop the dependency and have just an input field, e.g. a combobox with common values 72,150,300..., that doesn't depend on the size. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 117931] Mysql Connector Extension 4-3 no longer works with current LibreOffice
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117931 --- Comment #22 from Bojan --- OK. In the directory where mysql extension is installed, I created a symbolic link named libmysqlclient.so.18 pointing to the libmysqlclient_r.so in the same directory. Running LO resulted in the following error. Unable to load the libmysqlcppconn.so library. The very same error occurred when the symbolic link was pointing to the /usr/lib64/libmysqlclient_r.so Than, I deleted all symbolic links previously created and enabled in LO Connection pooling enabled. When LO has been restarted the connection to mysql worked great. However, when I restarted LO again, the connection has gone with the above mentioned error. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 108244] Cell Comments Often Loss when Saving in FODS Format. Steps to reproduce in comment 5
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108244 --- Comment #9 from John Carlson --- The problem still occurs for me. Version: 5.4.7.2 Build ID: c838ef25c16710f8838b1faec480ebba495259d0 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.4; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group The steps to reproduce this issue must be very precise. 1) Load LibreOffice 2) Load the testcase file. 3) Do *not* save the file in the ODS format first. 4) *Do* save the file in the FODS format. 5) Close the file. 6) Open the FODS file. In my testing today, I find that saving the file first in the ODS format will cause the comments to be stored in the FODS *but* if the FODS file is further modified and saved the comments will be lost. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118118 Bug ID: 118118 Summary: external file links still chased even if entry containing them deleted (change tracking enabled) Product: LibreOffice Version: 3.3.0 release Hardware: All OS: Mac OS X (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: tmp...@gmail.com 1.Create a new calc spreadsheet, enter something in any cell. Save the spreadsheet but leave the window open. 2.Create a second new calc spreadsheet. 3.Turn change tracking on (edit > track changes > record changes.) 4. Click on a cell, enter =, then click on the cell you filled in in step 1, hit return. 5. The cell you filled in in step 4 should now show the value entered in step 1 (and if you look at the formula that has been entered it will start "='file///…") 6. Delete the contents of the cell. 7. Save and close the second spreadsheet. 8. Open the second spreadsheet. You will get a message (which message you get depends on the version of LibreOffice) saying your spreadsheet has links to an external file and giving you the option of following them. As best I can tell, the only way to stop the message (other than enabling automatic linking) is to stop recording changes, which of course loses ALL change history. (I've tried accepting or rejecting the change on just the cell in question and that doesn't stop the message.) I believe the problem is that because the change history remembers the external file link even after the formula containing it has been deleted (or replaced by something else) the program attempts to follow it when the spreadsheet is loaded, even though the result won't actually be used. This is even true if the change deleting the external has been accepted: the change history still remembers the old value as having been changed. I believe the "right" implementation here would be to process external file links only if the result will be "used" in the spreadsheet. (I don't know what happens, or, to be honest, what should happen, if an external link is in a conditional expression of some kind and is used dependent on what the condition evaluates to, although that may be a related issue.) [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118114] New: Writer rotated text in table reorders itself
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118114 Bug ID: 118114 Summary: Writer rotated text in table reorders itself Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.4.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: posti...@comcast.net Description: Typing in a table cell with text rotated 270 degrees sometimes results in letters or words being put in the wrong order in the cell. Sometimes it appears right on the Writer screen and sometimes wrong. I noticed the problem at first when I exported to PDF a document I was working on. I constructed the test case (which I will attach) that is much simpler than my real-life document. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118113] MAILMERGE: Conditionally hidden section leads to anchoring to wrong page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118113 --- Comment #2 from Michael Weghorn --- The cause of the problem is that the amount of pages in the merged document differs for the single data records, as there is a text section that is hidden when the value in the column "Hidden" in the recipient data is "True". There is just a single page of content if the section is hidden, while there is three pages of content when the section is not hidden. I have analyzed the problem and plan to create a change in Gerrit soon. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118113] New: MAILMERGE: Conditionally hidden section leads to anchoring to wrong page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118113 Bug ID: 118113 Summary: MAILMERGE: Conditionally hidden section leads to anchoring to wrong page Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: m.wegh...@posteo.de Created attachment 142657 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=142657=edit Sample fle with hidden sections and a text box anchored to the page Using mail merge on a document that contains objects anchored to the page and sections that are hidden for some of the recipients may result in the objects being anchored to the wrong pages in the resulting merged document. Steps to reproduce: 1) open attached document "sample_mail_merge_with_hidden_section.odt" 2) run the Mail Merge wizard: * select "Tools" -> "Mail Merge Wizard" * select "Use the current document" -> "Next" * keep "Letter" for the type of document to create -> "Next" * select data source: * choose "Select Address List" * select "Add" and select the attached file "4-recipients.ods" * click "OK" to confirm to use this as the address list * make sure "This document shall contain an address block" is unselected -> "Next" * make sure "This document should contain a salutation" is unselected -> "Finish" 3) select "Save Merged Documents" in the mail merge toolbar 4) select to save as a single large document and click "Save Documents" 5) Once the document has been generated, choose a file name of your choice to save the generated document to. 6) Open the generated odt file Result: * The generated document has 13 pages (only 10 pages are actually "visible", the other 3 pages were inserted to make sure the content for each of the 4 data records starts on an odd page number). * The content for the single data records starts on pages 1, 3, 5, and 9. (This is expected.) * The text boxes are anchored to pages 1, 5, 9, and 13, which means this does not match the pages on which the content for the single data records starts. * The 4 last pages are empty except for the last text box that is anchored to page 13. Expected result: * The document should contain 9 pages. The 4 last pages from the actual result should not be there at all. * The content for the single data records starts on pages 1, 3, 5, and 9. (This is already the case.) * The text boxes should be anchored to pages 1, 3, 5, and 9 (one text box at the start of the content for each of the 4 data records). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
