[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 97815] switching to English function names does not work with Add-In functions
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97815 --- Comment #13 from Tibor Kovács --- I have permanently installed the LO 5.4.7. (It is not a portable version.) It was installed by the Hungarian language installer file. I often use the English user interface (for the English OpenOffice/LibreOffice forum), but in these cases the locale settings still Hungarian im my office suite... The attached picture shows: When I switch the office suite to English user interface, and the Calc function names to English, then some German function names appeared. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JD8AUJ5tSonHN6VxcGuwsDs2Hlcws7Rn/view?usp=sharing -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118337 Bug ID: 118337 Summary: Evenly fill space between repeated character-fill in number formats Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.0.beta2+ Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ba...@caesar.elte.hu Blocks: 105720 Created attachment 143061 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=143061=edit Screenshot This is mainly used when left-aligning currency symbols. Sample spreadsheet: attachment 130869 Currently the spreadsheet looks like the attached screenshot: the symbols are more or less aligned, but there's some variance, which doesn't look great . This occurs because left-alignment is achieved via character fill, and if the font isn't monospaced, alignment won't be even. For reference, the specification proposal mentions: "Fill characters may not fill all the available space in a cell. The distribution of the remaining space is implementation dependent." https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/ODF_Implementer_Notes/List_of_LibreOffice_ODF_Extensions#Support_for_repeating_codes_in_number_formats_for_calc https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-3765 If not too difficult, the best way would be to spread the remaining space evenly between fill characters. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118332] New: Table height unnecessarily increases with multi-line text in merged cells.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118332 Bug ID: 118332 Summary: Table height unnecessarily increases with multi-line text in merged cells. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.5.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: explore...@gmail.com Description: Happen on Impress only. When I make a table with a merged cell (spanning multiple rows) and multi-line text in it, the minimum height on one of the rows will increase unnecessarily. And that wastes space. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Impress with a blank slide. 2. Create a 3 x 3 table. 3. Merge three cells in the third column altogether. 4. Fill the cells with some text, like this: +++-+ | A1 | B1 | Column C with | +++ multiple lines | | A2 | B2 | of text.(break) | +++ Hello world.| | A3 | B3 | | +++-+ 5. Try to shrink the table height by dragging the resize knobs. Actual Results: The example will show row 3 with increased minimum table height, and impossible to size it down (unless the multi-line content in the merged cell gets removed). Expected Results: I should be able to get optimal minimum table height. Compare the result with Writer's to see what I mean. Additionally, I save copies with a timestamp in the their name in a subdirectory, e.g. "20180623-1-introduction.odt". If then working on with the timestamped version, when trying to finally again save it as "1-introduction.odt" and later opening this, all changes made in the timestamped version are lost in the not-timestamped version, while they are saved only in the timestamped version in the subdirectory. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write a text an save it as "name.odt" in a directory. 2. Create a subdirectory, e.g. "backup", and save a copy of the document from 1. in there, named "mmdd-name.odt". 3. Change the document "mmdd-name.odt" from the subdirectory, choose "save as ..." and save it as "name.odt" in the higher directory, result: Changes lost in "name.odt". Actual Results: Changes got lost when repeatedly changing between two document versions by using the "save as ..." dialogue. If you want to > continue searching you press ^F to reopen it again, and it should retain the > current search target regardless of what has happened in the editing window. No, by design 'Closing' and reopening the Find bar reinitializes it--either Docked or Undocked. If you need to retain the search string, do not close it! Meaning, rather than to close the undocked Find bar, a mouse click, text selection, or cursor movement places cursor focus back onto document canvas. Using a current selection as find target on launch remains correct and expected behavior. Also expected on launch, with no selection made from canvas, the prior find targets are available as a droplist stack for reuse. And that stack is persistent until LibreOffice is closed. This behavior is correct when 'Opening' or 'Reopening' the find bar. "Enhancement" suggested is not necessary, preloading the last find target rather than a current selection would break what is already functional. => WONTFIX Setting a limit on the size of a current selection that would/could be used as a find target probably should be done. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I can confirm, though, that in the latest available version (4.1.5) of Open Office for Mac this bug is present too. It may be reasonable to think (but I am not stating it though) that this bug was simply inherited from OO, and that no one has worked it around yet. I lack coding knowledge so i can not answer your question, but CFBundleTypeIconFile seems to be the most widespread way to assign file type icons in the info.plist files all over many apps for mac. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117633 --- Comment #1 from anncpark --- Pulling at our heartstrings, this Hermes Dogon wallet features the two most unique traits that you won’t find in any other wallet. One is, of course the ever-stunning Clou de Selle tab closure in circular shape with your beloved ‘Hermes Paris’ engraved in it. It’s available in gold, palladium and silver hardware, all as per the color choice. Also, this Dogon wallet comes in two styles; the Combined wallet and Compact wallet, each style is so minimal yet so Hermes! Secondly, this one-of-a-kind wallet comes with a removable zipped coin purse. Isn’t the bag truly well-rounded! Interior & Sizes The interior is next to none, just experience it for yourself and you’ll feel the same. Its greatest feature is that it has a removable small zipper pouch that can be used in any way; either you can put it inside for easy put-together or you can carry it while you need just some cash in a night out. If you are not in a mood to take the full purse out for a show-off, then this small pouch will serve well. Blame is all on you, you are just not aware with the capacity of your beloved Dogon wallet. It can store as much as 14 cards if we double store in each slot, plus the licence, the Id, travel card and what not! Whereas the Dogon Compact wallet has two credit card slots, one zipper purse and two extra compartments, the Dogon Combined 5 credit card slots, one removable zipper purse, two extra compartments and one bill slot. Can you simply fantasize for more storage in a wallet!
