[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118479] New: LO inserts different characters of same Unicode through different ways of inserting it

2018-07-01 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118479

Bug ID: 118479
Summary: LO inserts different characters of same Unicode
through different ways of inserting it
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 3.3.0 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: bugzilla@mkr.email

Description:
LO inserts different ‘Apostrophe’ characters [Unicode: U+0027] for the same
font (tested with Liberation Serif, Times New Roman & Minion Pro). It differs
by the way you insert the character.

A.) Inserting it by pressing ALT+0039
B.) Inserting it via the ‘Special characters’ menu and clicking on the
character. (The menu presents the same decimal value [39])

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Writer
2. Click on new document
3. Enter APOSTROPHE by pressing ALT+0039
4. Open ‚Special Characters‘ menu
5. Click on APOSTROPHE icon in the first line
→ The preview window on the right shows a different looking character with the
same decimal value (39)
6. If you insert it into the document, you have two different APOSTROPHE
characters next to each other.

Actual Results:
You get different characters for the same unicode (and same font, of course).

Expected Results:
You get the same character

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
Searched for “apostophe” and “unicode character different menu” but found
nothing

This happens since LO 3.3

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118469] problems with unwanted and unnecessary automatic table split

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118469

--- Comment #3 from Dr. Matthias Weisser ---
I really hope that not only I do have this problem. I have several books and
found it really annoying that sometimes when opening the file the page break
changes. So I have to check for this each time before I am building a pdf from
it. Also the page numbering then changes.

I could be a problem with insufficient memory. There is 4GB or more installed
but sometimes this seems not be enough. If I do no real win 7 restart over
several days it may happen more often.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118478] New: OpenPGP / GnuPG issues

2018-07-01 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118478

Bug ID: 118478
   Summary: OpenPGP / GnuPG issues
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.0.5.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org

OpenPGP does not appear to be working at all. This report appears to be a semi
duplication of other reports, but they are only similar and not mentioning
Linux, but MacOS and Windows.

1) Go to Tools -> Options -> User Data, under Cryptography there is OpenPGP
Signing Key and OpenPGP Encryption Key. Both show "No Key" and the pull down
lists nothing more to select, ie. none of my keys appear.

2) Go to File -> Digital Signatures -> Digital Signatures, I an given a window,
blank in content, with the options of "Sign Document" and "Start Certificate
Manager" [see attached screenshot]. I click to start certificate manager, and
from there Seahorse opens and I can see and verify all of the keys and
certificates I expect to see and have available to me. So, I click to sign
document. I am then asked to select a certificate, and only X.509 options are
there.

Unless I am missing something, those are the only places I find to use PGP keys
to sign a document. I currently have numerous X.509 certs and PGP keysets on my
system, all working properly. I have enigmail, gnupg, seahorse, gpg, and other
key management and dev tools installed. I am able to generate and manage keys
without issues, and use keys PGP and SSH keys without issue for basic messages,
email, remote connectivity, etc. This issue is not new for me to this version,
it has been existing for a while. I am reporting now as the need to use came up
again and it is still not functional.

+1 for me so it would give:
"Show also on colored cells"
Heiko/Xisco: ok for you?
