[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 106572] FILEOPEN DOCX: header position becomes page margin
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106572 --- Comment #11 from Justin L --- Several problems here. The first problem to deal with is that the first page is not receiving the "First Page" pagestyle. That is related to the super tiny floating table as the first item in the document. Removing that table results in the first page style showing up. see commit 2e8aad6d45c53d554ccaf26de998ede708cfc289 Author: Vinaya Mandke CommitDate: Thu Apr 24 12:57:51 2014 +0200 fdo#39056 fdo#75431 Section Properties if section starts with table (Emulation is creating first/follow pages styles instead of different firstpage header in the same style. That is normal, and necessary because the way Word and LO handle sections is completely different. So no worries about comment 10. And that leads to the First/Follow page being totally different. This is something LO simply cannot do, and gets pretty confusing. In Word, what you see on page 1 is the first-page header for section 1. Because of continuous section breaks the follow-page header is never seen, and neither is the first-page header for section 2. Page 2 displays the follow-page header of section 2. (LO has nothing comparable to continuous sections. Since there is no page break, LO has no way of knowing when to switch to the next page style[Converted2].) This is a CANTFIX. Dynamic height is also at play in the header size, but that seems to be legitimate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119233] Trackpad click handling very slow on MacOS, leads to randomly moving objects in Draw
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119233 --- Comment #5 from Ken Shirriff --- I've attached a test file. To reproduce the problem, click on the image and immediately move the cursor with the trackpad after releasing the click. Observed behavior: the image gets dragged along and moved. Expected behavior: the image is selected and the cursor moves. It's a bit strange, because I'm having a lot harder time reproducing the problem than yesterday. Before, I repeated the problem dozens of times and it would happen with any of the objects: text boxes or lines. But now it just happens with the image. I've tried to determine if anything has changed since yesterday to provide more information. CPU load was low both times (if it gets high I hear the fan run). I hadn't restarted LibreOffice. It's not a memory leak or something since I saw the problem yesterday immediately after installing new versions. It's not my laptop, since I've seen the problem both on MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The problem is independent of the sidebar. Most of the time I have a fairly large image in the drawing, so maybe that's a clue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The first commenters should have noticed that, instead of only commenting. So I'll change the title to a more precise description of the problem. Here's an actual description of the problem: Setting "Text alignment" to other than left and Text Orientaition = "vertically stacked" works well as long as Properties -> Wrap texts automatically is off. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 76622] Feature Request: Brush Tool (Transfer Format from Cell to Cell) : Enhance with STRG / CRTL Key
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76622 Gerhard Weydt changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #2 from Gerhard Weydt --- The description of the desired functionality is incomplete, if not defective: what does "to some'other' cells" mean, why has the connection of cells - directly or indirectly - anything to do with the function of the brush, namely copying the format. If you don't provide precise examples, I do not understand the problem. Moreover, double-clicking the brush keeps the format settings for every cell you click on afterwards until you click on the brush again, so I see no need for another key combination to do the same job, and then, as I believe, in a less understandable way: who should know what Ctrl+Brush will do after some other clicks, and if it works only immediately after setting the brush, then the solution of once setting the brush by double-clicking is easier understandable and already working. I will set the status to "resolved/notabug" then, to remove it from the bug list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119257] New: SVG export of non-horizontal measure shape has displaces dimension value text
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119257 Bug ID: 119257 Summary: SVG export of non-horizontal measure shape has displaces dimension value text Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.1.6.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de Created attachment 144155 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144155=edit File to reproduce the displaced text Open attached document and select all. Export the selection to SVG. Import the produced image. Notice, that the rotated measure shapes have wrong text placement. The error is, that the positions of the text parts are transformed in addition to the transformation of the entire text. Correct behavior: Calculate the position of the text parts as if the text is horizontal. Then transform the entire text shape, so that it has the correct rotation and translation relative to the dimension line of the measure shape. This is not inherited from AOO, but I see it in LO version 5.1. My Version 4 produces total wrong svg-files, which cannot be imported. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116298] Hide/Show grips of Sidebar decks are too intrusive
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116298 --- Comment #17 from Rainer Fiebig --- After de-installing libobasis5.4-kde-integration, the background-color of the handles changed from black to the one you can see in attachement https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=140513. That's an improvement. The other colors didn't change and still match the color-theme. Doing the same for LO-5.3 didn't have any negative effect, everything looks like before. So it seems that on my system (KDE-4) "libobasis5.x-kde-integration" is not necessary for LO-5.3 and actually impairs KDE-integration for LO-5.4. Making the handles less intrusive or even obsolete should still be an urgent design-goal, imo. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I attach a file with an empty slide and a second slice that contains > 2000 shapes (1000 triangles and 1000 circles). If I copy/paste slide 2, the UI freezes for a long time. For more complex documents, the time increases considerably. LO 6.0.6.2: 1m 52s LO 6.1.0.3: 1m 18s Also, if I dare to try to select and copy all the shapes in the slide, the whole computer freezes and becomes unusable. I believe that a similar document was handled significantly better in LO a few years back (~2013). If I do the same operation in a VM with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2013 (.odp, .ppt or .pptx), the copy/paste or selection is almost instantaneous. Interestingly, when I save in LO the .odp file in .ppt/pptx, the 29MB file becomes a 1MB file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
