https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101437 --- Comment #17 from Rickard Westman --- I have now tested with some newer AppImages, and I'm happy to report that the bug seemingly disappeared in version 6.0.5 and is still gone in 6.0.6 and 6.1.0. So let's hope it doesn't reappear again! Specifically, I tested these AppImages on Ubuntu 14.04.5: LibreOffice-6.0.3-x86_64.AppImage: Buggy LibreOffice-6.0.4-x86_64.AppImage: Buggy LibreOffice-6.0.5-x86_64.AppImage: OK LibreOffice-6.0.6.en-GB.help-x86_64.AppImage: OK LibreOffice-6.1.0.en-GB.help-x86_64.AppImage: OK I also tested the 6.0.3 version that ships standard with Ubuntu 18.04, and it's buggy as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119337] New: Image past does not paste at cursor
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119337 Bug ID: 119337 Summary: Image past does not paste at cursor Product: LibreOffice Version: 5.2.3.3 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: legorobotic...@gmail.com Description: I tried to paste images at the cursor. LibreWriter (5.2.3.3) pastes at the top of the document. The first image (screenshot I want to submit on another web-site) pastes at the very top of the document. What I tried to do was have a few words to describe the screenshot below it. I entered the description, took the screenshot and attempted to paste it into the document at the cursor BELOW the previously entered 4 word description. However, the image pasted to the very top of the document moving my text BELOW the inserted image. I was able to drag the image below the text. Next I added a couple line returns, entered the brief description for the next image and again attempted to insert the new screenshot image BELOW my new text. Instead, the new image is back at the top of the document overlaid on top of the first image. I cannot drag the 2nd image below the second line of text. This should be a simple paste procedure at the cursor position but it fails!!! Please fix. Or does a later version address this issue? Thank you in advance. Mike Tighe -The LEGO Roboticist legorobotic...@gmail.com Steps to Reproduce: Type test. Line Return. Take screenshot. Paste into document BELOW aforementioned test. Now MOVE image to desired position BELOW text. Enter line returns below image. Enter new text. Take a new screenshot. Now TRY to position new image BELOW new text. Good luck... Actual Results: Second image pastes at top of document no matter where you have the cursor. Unable to drag second image below lowest text. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119259 --- Comment #8 from Caolán McNamara --- I think... in drawdoc3.cxx ::InsertBookmarkAsPage, when the page is pasted, RenameAndCopyGraphicSheets is called, which calls stlpool.cxx SdStyleSheetPool::CopySheets where an existing stylesheet is found via the "If we have already have a sheet with the new name and it is equal to the one in the source pool, do nothing" and added it to rCreatedSheets. Later in SdMoveStyleSheetsUndoAction::Undo the style is unconditionally removed from the pool, even though the original version of the graphic still relies on it. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119332] New: Replacement of SVGFilter by SVGIO still causing regressions and breaking extensions (e.g. TeXMaths)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119332 Bug ID: 119332 Summary: Replacement of SVGFilter by SVGIO still causing regressions and breaking extensions (e.g. TeXMaths) Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.1.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: filters and storage Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: sergio.calleg...@gmail.com Description: After bug 118254, there appears to be still a regression in the management of svg files following the replacement of SVGFilter by SVGIO. This results in the breakage of extensions (at least TeXMaths) and prevents ubgrading to LibO6.1. Specifically, svg images inserted /programmatically/ into a draw/impress document appear smaller than they should (and looking at the image dimension in the properties window also physically take smaller dimensions). This is strange, since svg images inserted from files take exactly the same dimensions both in LibO 6.0 and LibO 6.1. To quickly replicate the issue, please have LibO 6.1 installed and add to it the TexMaths extension (https://sourceforge.net/projects/texmaths/). Also assure that you have some Latex distribution installed on your system as TeXMaths depends on it. Check that TeXMaths is correctly configured to find the necessary LaTeX components (aka at least the latex executable, the dvipng executable and the dvisvgm executable, the latter being indispensable to deliver svg images for the equations). >From LibO 6.1, open the attached sample document, which contains 2 TeXMaths equations (one looking as an A and another one looking as a B) in a box (that is there to help evaluate the relative size and alignment of the two) and which was originally prepared with LibO 6.0. Select "B" and press the "TexMaths equations" button in the TexMaths toolbar. A window should open. Just press the "LaTeX" button there, to re-generate the equation image. The "B" symbol is now much smaller than the "A" and not anymore bottom aligned with it. Now select "B" again and re-press the "TeXMaths equations" button. In the window, switch to "png" mode in the "image format" section. Press "LaTeX" again. Now the symbol "B" is back to the correct size, showing that the issue is only specific to the rendering of the svg equation. If you do the same test with LibO 6.0, you'll see that the B symbol stays in the correct size both with LibO 6.0 and LibO 6.1. Being that TeXMaths uses exactly the same code in both cases, there is evidently a regression or at least an undocumented difference in the way svg images are programmatically imported into a LibO drawing from version 6.0 to version 6.1. The bug has also been reported to the TexMaths developer at https://sourceforge.net/p/texmaths/bugs/104/ in case the different behavior in LibO is intentional and merely needing documentation so that it can be worked around in extensions such as in TeXMaths. The same certificate is considered valid when added to a non-password saved document. It is also possible to add it via File > Digital Signatures, in which case it is considered valid. As a note, so far I have only tested certificates generated by GnuPG with and without passwords. When attempting to add a password protected certificate via the Signature Line I am not asked for a password. _Steps to Reproduce_ Make sure you have at least one (valid) certificate available. 1. Create a new Writer or Calc document 2. Insert > Signature Line 3. Fill in the dialog and press ok 4. Save the document with a password (in the Save As dialog/filesystem navigator, at the bottom left should be an option "Save with password") 5. Right-click Signature Line and select "Sign Signature Line" 6. Type in a name, click "Select Certificate" and select a certificate 7. Click Sign _Actual Results_ You will immediately be told the certificate is invalid. _Expected Results_ Should be prompted for password (if necessary). [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 45307] LibreOffice hangs on HTML Table paste
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45307 --- Comment #20 from franc...@synways.com --- I have also the issue copying html table. Version: libreoffice 1:5.2.7-1+deb9u4 amd64 on debian stretch I have the bug when my vpn is connected. When using vpn, I also use a remote proxy with a ssh tunnel: ssh $myproxy-hsot -L 3128:127.0.0.1:3128 Then I can either setup the proxy settings (http(s): 127.0.0.1 3128) in the gnome system settings or in the libreoffice options (manual proxy settings) In both cases the pasting works without bugs. (it is just a bit slow) If i do not set the proxy in system nor in libreoffice and set it only in firefox manually, then obviously firefox can reach internet and libreoffice cannot. In this case copy pasting an html table with pictures elements will hangs libreoffice forever and I need to force close it. => libreoffice should not need internet for pasting clipboard. => if internet cannot be avoided, at least libreoffice should give up after some timeout and/or offer a cancel button, instead of freezing a loosing changes on all opened documents. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
