[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119461] Sidebar: Collapsing deck using Enter or Space key hides focus
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119461 --- Comment #3 from Jim Raykowski --- Here is a patch that makes the Space key behavior the same as a mouse click. Focus remains on the tab button. This avoids focus from being hidden when the deck collapses. The patch also makes the Enter key never collapse the deck but to open it if collapsed and always place focus on the first panel title. https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/59616/ Comments and testing always appreciated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

There is no other indication for why it may not be working that I can see. In the end, I fixed it by copy/pasting the content of the working SUM cell in the H column into one that was broken. When I tried to undo the copy/paste, it still kept working after the change was undone. Steps to Reproduce: Not sure how I triggered the bug. I copy pasted the first row with the calculation into all the subsequent rows and filled in the numbers for adding up manually. First few rows add up correctly, but later ones do not. (See screenshot.) I have tried applying the formatting from the working rows to the broken rows with no change. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 73593] add more formula items to Elements pane, provide LibreOffice with more complete coverage of MathML and LaTex symbol definitions
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73593 --- Comment #10 from brian.bj.parke...@gmail.com --- Just to clarify, what I am suggesting here is much simpler than what you are describing- I am not suggesting using the tex engine for layout or allowing full blown import of arbitrary latex files. All I am suggesting is a minor extension of the StarMath syntax. StarMath syntax *already* supports latex synonyms for superscript and subscript. If it also supported e.g. \Lambda as a synonym for %LAMBDA, and \cdot as a synonym for cdot etc, then the majority of latex formula examples could be cut and pasted directly into Impress presentations. This could be done in an almost entirely backward compatible way, and would not require *any* changes to the layout code, or any changes to the storage formats- the changes would be localized to the starmath parser, and would be an extension to the syntax and so would be backwardly compatible (except for contrived examples). Also, it wouldn't need to include 100% of latex math notation- just covering the common cases would allow the majority of published latex examples to be cut and pasted. (In reply to V Stuart Foote from comment #8) > Indeed, my apologies. Bug 119449 would be better set a duplicate of bug > 96208 -- done. > > Issue in general with support Tex and LaTex syntax is that our "native" > format to control node composition is StarMath--but our storage media is > ODF. Save the new content.xml Delete old content.xml in the *.odb-file with the packing-program. Move the new content.xml into the *.odb-file. Hope this works for you. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119111] Shapes losing position and z-index
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119111 --- Comment #9 from DM --- I don't currently know a way of reproducing it on demand. The attachment was to show the result of the problems - shapes that have lost their position (on this one text shapes ending up at the top left corners of cells and z-index altered so that they end up under objects and not responding to a z-index change of sending-to-back/front). On other ones the text shapes are thrown over the right hand margins, which is impossible by hand. I found a way to recover the text shapes in the attached exhibit which is to click in the top left corner of each of the cells and where there is one it will be highlighted but invisible and then clicking one of the wrap buttons makes it visible. The saving comment was to illustrate how variable the problem is, as it may happen just by saving and reopening but that is a less frequent occurrance. Most commonly they lose their xy positions and z-index somewhere in the document as I'm editing, and it's very common. d -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73593 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added CC||rb.hensc...@t-online.de See Also||https://bz.apache.org/ooo/s ||how_bug.cgi?id=2864 Version|4.1.3.2 release |Inherited From OOo --- Comment #8 from V Stuart Foote --- Indeed, my apologies. Bug 119449 would be better set a duplicate of bug 96208 -- done. Issue in general with support Tex and LaTex syntax is that our "native" format to control node composition is StarMath--but our storage media is ODF. As ODF requires use of MathML, we strive to support MathML for import and export. We annotate the XML of each MathML ODF Formula object with its StarMath composition--and reparse that StarMath on reimport. There is no specification for using TeX with ODF, so while we could probably filter import the LaTeX syntax formula entries and could also hold them as annotations--the same as the StarMath for reimport--we would never adopt TeX for canvas layout. TeX is treated to PostScript. Filter based import of LaTex, and expanding the GUI to support LaTex syntax entry is feasible. The first step for both is to ensure the MathML/StarMath can correctly describe the additional symbology when recorded to ODF XML. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119375 --- Comment #5 from Xavier Van Wijmeersch --- @Shinji Eniko With the fill series, yes you cannot set it per hour or minutes The mp4 shows dragging with a mouse and i mist the point of the reporter Workaround is exp in A1 type 1:00 and then in A2 2:00 select them and drag with the mouse down, then you will have a fill by hour etc. Maybe a future request for filling per hours in Sheet -> fill cells -> series Version: 6.1.2.0.0+ Build ID: f675adc55e9dee1185b57d8e51df7ad3c9364753 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.14; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: nl-BE (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119507] New: macro signature's should not be removed as long as macro source code has not changed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119507 Bug ID: 119507 Summary: macro signature's should not be removed as long as macro source code has not changed Product: LibreOffice Version: Inherited From OOo Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: BASIC Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: oliver.brinz...@gmx.de Created attachment 144453 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=144453=edit macro signed template imagine an enterprise environment, where users should work with templates (containing macros) and macro security level is set to "High": steps to reproduce: - set Macro Security to "High": Menu "Tools/Options.../LibreOffice/Security/[Macro Security...]" - open attached template: Menu "File/Templates/Open Template ..." - check "[x] Always trust macros from this source" and [Enable Macros] btw: is there an option to prevent users trusting a signed macro? imho it would make sence to have an option to allow only macro's signed with preinstalled/validated certificates. - verify signatures: document (banner below toolbar) and macro (Menu "Tools/Macros/Digital Signature..." - close template - open a document from template: Menu "File/Open.../macro_signed_template.ott" - document and macro signature's have been removed. - but [Run Macro] will still work! - save "Untitled 1" as "test.odt" and close - open "test.odt" - macros execution is disabled now "repair" test.odt: - copy "META-INF/macrosignatures.xml" from "macro_signed_template.ott" to test.odt's "META-INF" folder. - open "test.odt" - [Run Macro] will work again conclusion: macro signature's should not be removed as long as macro source code has not changed. problem: - open "test.odt" - Menu "File/Tools/Macros/Edit Macro" - edit macro (for example change msgbox text) *without* saving the document - [Run Macro] will work! - save and close - open "test.odt" - macro will not work conclusion: macro execution should be disabled as soon as macro source code has changed. user should be warned editing signed macro code. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
