[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121934] New: Highlighting applied 2 days ago was gone tonight.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121934 Bug ID: 121934 Summary: Highlighting applied 2 days ago was gone tonight. Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.0.5.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mejbu...@gmail.com Description: About 20 highlights I applied to a document 2 or 3 nights ago were gone tonight. I am not sure if the document was saved in that time. It was open when I looked at it tonight. It could easily be saved or not saved. this happened using Light Gray 4. Another problem I have been having with the highlighting is that the intensity of the color will change after the document was saved and re-opened. This has happened on several documents. And it has been all the colors used that were affected. I used light colors to highlight - a very light red and Light Gray 4. When I re-opened the document the very light red had become a very intense very red red. And the gray had become a very very bright intense green. 1 or 2 other colors may have been involved. I will enter another bug report for this other issue. But, I thought it should be made known since it might be related to the first issue. If you need any more information I can dig it for you. I have just started using the highlights. They are important to what I am trying to do. I will have to get a document writer that works if this one will not. I tried resetting the user profile at the first level(there were 2 options). I will see if anything changes. I didn't try to find out what to do to to deal with the OPEN GL. I will take it 1 step at a time. Steps to Reproduce: 1.tried once to reproduce. 2.saved and re-opened. 3.no problem Actual Results: no problem occurred Expected Results: ??? [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121727] slow spellchecking area calculation make document appear to hang
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121727 --- Comment #13 from LFlo --- Hey sorry for the late response. Actually this isn't a test case I made up, it was actual malware we got on our E-Mail account. I saved the file in order to test if the malware can also attack libre office. As far as I know the file *does* contain macros which can hurt windows environment, at least libre office warned me of macros before opening the file. Also the anti-virus of the Windows system in our office detected it as malware. That's why I wasn't sure if I can actually upload the file since I don't want to provide a "free" way to hurt any Windows System with MS Office although Libre office + Linux seem to be immune against. @Caolán McNamara: Can you confirm again that the file does not contain any macros which can be malicious for Libre Office and MS Office? Is there a way to get rid of the macros? The additional pixel is on the left and on the top edge. Therefor the markers are wrongly cut. For markers, which have only small size compared to icons, this 1px is important. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121725] Export to PDF from DOCX gives wrong PDF file that doesn't open with error
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121725 --- Comment #11 from Mike Kaganski --- (In reply to Xavier Van Wijmeersch from comment #9) Thanks. The problem is identified (see comment 7), and is indeed Windows-specific, related to the mentioned commit breaking the filter list in Windows Save As dialog. This makes LibreOffice to not recognize the selected filter, and fall back to the ODF. Thus on Windows, when one chooses to save a PDF, actually a normal ODF is saved, with PDF extension. Such ODF is the attachment 147057, and that's why it cannot be open in PDF readers. The problem is currently being worked on in bug 121569 (see https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/63715). If it would not make it into 6.2, I suppose it would be simply reverted there, and continue being fixed in master branch. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
