[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37817] Zoom mode to the Full-width between set page margins only--no horizontal scroll

2019-02-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37817

I'm totally in for making the "hide whitespace" function also affecting the
left/right margins. But I don't see switching UI elements on/off, or collapsing
it, as a special "view". That would rather be a MUFFIN thing and perfectly
suited for an extension.

Regarding use cases, for example bug 123523 is not talking about a workflow. It
could be "I want to have more space to read documents in full size on my small
screen" or a bit more far fetched "I want to use large margins but not see it
while editing". As a WYSIWYG editor this is going to be out of scope. We should
be very carefully with keeping focus not working on the swiss-army-knife.

What makes sense to me is the workflow "I want to visually compare documents"
and we have to consider special solutions (not saying hide whitespace etc. is
off-topic in this mode).

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 123565] I Want an Acoustic plus an Optical Signal when Wrap Around happens when Searching or Searching and Replacing

2019-02-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123565

Hi Adalbert,

Notification of search wrapping is given in the find bar on the right in the
[placeholder for message] area and in the Find & Replace dialog below the Match
case and Whole words only check boxes.

The messages shown for text searches are "Reached the beginning of the
document", "Reached the end of the document" and "Search key not found". For
Navigate By element searches the messages show are "Reached the beginning of
the document, continued from the end", "Reached the end of the document,
continued from the beginning" and "Navigation Element not found"

IMHO, acoustic and animated signaling of these would be an improvement. Let's
see what the UX team thinks.

  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED

The Beanshell Editor has a "Close" button in the toolbar.
This button can be removed as the window already has a close button.

The code is in scripting/java/com/sun/star/script/framework/provider/beanshell
.

You find the Beanshell Editor via Tools->Macros->Organize Macros->Beanshell.
Create a library, then a macro, then you can edit it which gets you into the
Beanshell Editor.

enable it when the script is changed.

to word boundaries. Pos1 and End work as well. But any key that would change
the content does not work. The Backspace and Del keys simply take me to the
beginning of the field. Typing any actual character, numeric or letter, moves
the caret one position forward. The field content (the position of the first
defined tab stop or “0.00 cm” is none has been defined) is left unchanged in
any case.

My environment: LibreOffice 6.2.0.3 on Arch Linux, fully updated, tried XFCE
and Cinnamon sessions. German keyboard.

I can confirm this bug occurs in 6.2.0.3 and was not present in 6.1.4.2 on
Linux.

In Steps 1 & 2, I right-clicked the Default Style > Modify > Tabs. I selected
the entire Position text box with ctrl-a and type 1. The cursor postion
(represented by the underscore) was "_1". It should have been "1_".

Sorry, but this has been over 18 months since I reported this. As mentioned in
an earlier comment...I uninstalled LO and purchased Office to use instead. It
works fine. I could NOT keep going out to customers with graphics that were NOT
readable.

So, I don't have LO installed or the inclination to go and get it again just to
test this bug that had zero action for a long time.

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 37592] lists from Writer not inserts as lists in Draw and Impress

2019-02-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37592

** Please read this message in its entirety before responding **

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Installing 6.2.0.3 (LibreOffice_6.2.0_Win_x64.msi) by itself is OK. The problem
occurs once the 6.2.0 help pack is also installed, and goes away when it's
uninstalled.

I will leave version 6.2.0 installed (but without the help pack).

I installed the Released version of LibreOffice 6.2
(LibreOffice_6.2.0_Win_x64.msi) and the help
(LibreOffice_6.2.0_Win_x64_helppack_en-US.msi) and the problem recurred.

I decided to fall back to the 6.1.5 release (LibreOffice_6.1.5_Win_x64.msi) to
see if the problem was occurring with it also. I first installed it, and
planned to test it and (if there was no problem) to install the help pack
(LibreOffice_6.1.5_Win_x64_helppack_en-US.msi).

Version 6.1.5 was OK by itself, but the problem occurred when I installed the
help pack. It was OK after I uninstalled the help pack. In other words, it's
installing the help pack that caused the problem, at least with the 6.1.5
release.

I will try the 6.2.0 release by itself (i.e., no help pack) and see if the
problem occurs with it alone. I will update this ticket after testing that.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 96711] Add russian rouble new format to money formats

2019-02-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96711

RU means russian federation as a territory
https://datahub.io/core/language-codes

So every locale that ends with _RU must use rouble as a currency since it's the
only valid currency in Russian federation. The federation has republics (like
Tatarstan) but none of them has any local currency.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 123584] New: [EDITING] `[HH]:MM` formatting has rounding problem (0:59 instead of 1:00 for example)

2019-02-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123584

Bug ID: 123584
Summary: [EDITING] `[HH]:MM` formatting has rounding problem
(0:59 instead of 1:00 for example)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: woj...@unir.se

Description:
For some reason LO Calc cell that calculates value from other cell (time-diff)
that is configured with `[HH]:MM` formatting shows rounding error. After saving
and re-opening the file cells are correctly re-calculated. It started with
6.2.x release and was warking correctly before..

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new spreadsheet
2. Create 3 columns formatted as _Time_ with `[HH]:MM` configuration, 3. column
should be diff or column 2 and 1
3. enter a couple of values (15m rounding in my case showed the isssue) in
columns 1 and 2

Actual Results:
Sometimes i see 0:59 or 0:14 instead of 1:00 and 0:15 respectively

Expected Results:
I should see 1:00 and 0:15

Reproducible: Always
