https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124636 --- Comment #1 from Kurt --- It turns out this is a duplicate of 124639. Some printer drivers (Brother notably) silently change the paper size when you select "borderless". The paper size doesn't appear to change on the dialog, but internally it is the paper size the borderless checkbox is changing. When "Use only paper size from printer preferences", as indicated in the comments of 124639, is set this issue resolves and the borderless checkbox setting is preserved and passed to the printer. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 121967] Can't select/pick multiples shapes or images in Writer/Calc/Impress/Draw with CTRL key
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121967 --- Comment #27 from Pedro --- Considering that all other Office suites have it, it is universal in office suites. If you want to discuss about something being universal then shift click isn't either for this exact function. Just try to press Shift and click multiple non-contiguous files in a file explorer and you'll see the difference. For any user that uses an Office suite that tries LibreOffice, the immediate reaction will be that this is something broken with LibreOffice (and they're not wrong to think that). And no, this is NOT something only for Windows users. WPS Office, Only Office exist in Linux. Google Docs is a web based suite. WordPerfect precedes Windows. However, I do agree that it's not the best to simply replace Shift-click by Ctrl-click. Other Office suites also offer the possibility of using Shift-click, thus: Shift-click or Ctrl-click interchangeably is the way to go. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 34002] EDITING - Add Reveal Codes feature like there is in WordPerfect.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34002 --- Comment #18 from James E. LaBarre --- I would just like to put a comment/clarification here, although I suspect there will be others who understand the technical factors far better than me. My understanding of the WordPerfect file format, and/or the way the application handled managing a document being edited, is that the file is a "streaming data" format (if that is the correct term). A code/format gets activated, and is in effect until it is deactivated. Formatting codes could be nested as well. The idea of the "reveal codes" function was/is to show those embedded formatting codes within the stream. Seems to me the WP formatting concept is basically like a "markup language", and from what I remember of using WP, they looked very much like HTML and XML. And since the OpenDocument format is also a streaming data format, it would seem to logically lend itself to a reveal codes editor. This is, of course, presuming that WP was in fact using a stream of data for their document format, and not using some long-since-lost hack to make it look that way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
