[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124414] Image is partly displayed when printing (to PDF) two pages per sheet (Linux-only)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124414 --- Comment #11 from Fred Lemire --- (In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #5) > Created attachment 150622 [details] > output That's not the output that I obtained. In my case, there was just the image's frame (that was well centered and sized, contrarily to this output) that appeared. Also, if possible, I would like not to return to a much older version, for, with version 5.1.6.2, I had other bugs at print time (garbage appearing here and there on the printed pages, seemingly randomly). Those problems disappeared when I switched to version 6.2.2.2 — except for the one this whole thread is about. Finally, when you suggest to download a specific version, could you provide as well the link where it dwells ? I would fear, by just looking up a given version number, to find something irrelevant, or faulty. Remember that I run under Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Thanks, you all ! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115497] Impress - 3D (and some others) transition are not working
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=115497 --- Comment #5 from Daniele --- I have tried the collabora demo and the problem remains. I think is due to the fact that Apple does not support Open GL anymore, while LO develops with it. I have also purchased NeoOffice (which should combine OO and LO and it is specifically developed for MacOSx) and the developer resolved the issue by removing 3d transitions from the options, though it gives you more non-3D animation from which to choose. Don't know which sounds better, but at least in Neo you don't have the problem that if you select an animation, it crashes like in LO. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 61422] UI: Integrate basic playback controls for audio/video when doing a slide show
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61422 --- Comment #8 from Saren Tasciyan --- I am surprised that this got so little attention. In life sciences, this is necessary to discuss part of a movie. MS Office implements this very nicely. When user moves mouse over the video, a video playback control field appears at the bottom edge of the video (partially covering the video bottom edge). There, user can play/pause and navigate the video. After leaving from that area, control bar fades away quickly to display whole video unmasked. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a linked or embedded video to slide. 2. Move the video to the bottom or right edge of the slide and also leave some part of the video outside (crossing the right/bottom edge) 3. Start slide show on this slide Actual Results: Slide zooms in or shifts (bigger the video -> bigger the shift/zoom) Expected Results: No shift or zoom. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 82184] Improve installation process for non en-US locales
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82184 --- Comment #28 from Mike Kaganski --- Some technical details: 1. Installer UI language (on Windows; the bug is about MSI) depends not on OS language, but on the language set at "Region and Language" -> "Format" (accessible using intl.cpl command line). That is per-user setting. One might set the language there once, and if required, change all settings there manually to have, e.g., Croatian language + en_UK decimal separator settings. 2. Creating an additional installer screen (or better re-using existing "Welcome to the installation Wizard" screen) to place language selector (along with the text like "you may select the language of LibreOffice UI to install here - which is a shortcut for UI selection available under Advanced") is possible; feel free to jump in and make it happen. Personally I could provide you with advises; however, that's not an easy hack in my view. 3. However, selecting the language there *can not* change installer UI. This is limitation of MSI technology; and the only workaround is some bootstrap application mentioned in comment 6. Creating such bootstrap would be another, even bigger task. To choose installer UI language without changing Language -> Format, one may use ProductLanguage property with *decimal* [MS-LCID] value for any language supported by installer and OS (shown en_US; note that link below lists LCIDs in hexadecimal): > msiexec /i LibreOffice_X.Y.Z_Win_x64.msi ProductLanguage=1033 [MS-LCID] https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/windows_protocols/ms-lcid/a9eac961-e77d-41a6-90a5-ce1a8b0cdb9c -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124691 Bug ID: 124691 Summary: Slow mouse wheel scrolling in Writer with GTK3 interface Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.2.1 rc Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rolan...@free.fr Created attachment 150699 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=150699=edit Example of complex document with graphics Mouse scrolling complex documents is painfully slow in Writer with the GTK3 interface (on Linux). I've attached an example document to this bug report. See also bug #104716 (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104716). To reproduce: 1. Open the attached document in Writer with the GTK3 interface and set zoom level to 140% 2. Go to page 104 and scroll around several pages with the mouse. The scrolling is very slow, much slower than scrlling the pages with the keyboard. 3. Open the attached document in Writer with the GTK2 interface and set zoom level to 140% 4. Go to page 104 and scroll around several pages with the mouse. The scrolling is now fluid.
