Hello,

now I've installed version 6.3.0.0.alpha1. At same position of installing I'm
requested installing KB2999226 from Microsoft. While installing, I get an
error.

I've unzipped the msi-file of LibreOffice. Then I copy the folder
"LibreOfficeDev 6" in a wished upper folder. Then I opened soffice.exe. I can
work without errors.

I'm belive in no needed KB2999226. I think it can deleted in installing
procedure.

Best reguards, Helmut!

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124364] Inserting a diagram leads to an error

2019-05-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124364

Hi Aron

I think I can reproduce it. Please try the following steps:

1. Create an empty document
2. Format > Columns > 2 Columns
3. Insert diagram

It seems the error occurs when one inserts the diagram in a document with
multiple columns.

Can you reproduce it in that way?

Dear Valek Filippov,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Dear theirix,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Screenshot of layer tabbar in Draw, compare old and new design

With introducing a 'protect' icon in the tabbar of Calc, the layer tabbar in
Draw has got much too wide tabs. The whitespace of the labels it too large.
Previously we had whitespace of about three 'm's from end of label to the start
of the next label. Now there are about seven 'm's between. The effect is, that
user defined tabs are no longer directly reachable.

Calc has a derived class for its tabbar. So providing room for the 'protect'
icon could be done there.

The screen shot shows the tabbar of LO 6.1 in the lower part and the current
tabbar in the upper part.

outline heading test file

Attached is a document with a skeleton outline I have been using for testing
this patch. The patch to make the selections remain selected after moving is
also ready[1]. IMO it makes testing this patch easier. A test I use to prove
correct move behavior is noting selected headings positions and doing opposite
chapter moves (i.e promote followed by demote or demote followed by promote).
After opposite moves the content headings tree should be as it was before the
moves. Multi selected move results should match that of moving selected
headings individually in selection order from top of content list to bottom
when promoting (moving up) and in selection order from bottom to top when
demoting (moving down).

first of all sorry that the Bug has been posted twice. The first time the

the fact that it was already posted.

When running this on 6.2.3.2 with OpenGL enabled/disabled it both works. So I
guess whatever it is, it has been fixed in the later version.

Thanks for your help!

time of the document
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.2.3.2 release

OS: Linux (All)

 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: alex@gmail.com

Description:
With LibreOffice 6.2.3.2 on Mint 19.1 Cinnamon

I have tested with Writer, Calc and Impress, and the problem is present with
each program.

When one opens an existing document, upon saving (whether or not changes have
been made) instead of updating the content and modification date of the file, a
new file is created (new inode number) and the creation time of the document is
changed to the saved/modification time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open an existing document
2. Save it as is
3. Check the timestamps in the file explorer
   and/or
check the inode and timestamps in command line using:
   1- `stat \path\to\document
   2- `sudo debugfs -R 'stat /path/to/document' /dev/sdXn | grep crtime

Actual Results:
The inode number is modified.
The creation time is updated.

Expected Results:
The inode number should stay the same.
The creation time should not be updated.

dumb me, I mixed pUrlItem->GetValue() and m_sDsn which is the result of
cutPrefix.

Except for gtk3 where
pUrlItem->GetValue()=sdbc:dbase:/home/julien/lo/bugs/dbase_docs/clicketyclick/dbase_ex/template/t3/without_data
in both tabs

for others (gtk, kde5, gen)
pUrlItem->GetValue()=sdbc:dbase:/home/julien/lo/bugs/dbase_docs/clicketyclick/dbase_ex/template/t3/without_data
in first tab

and
pUrlItem->GetValue()=~sdbc:dbase:/home/julien/lo/bugs/dbase_docs/clicketyclick/dbase_ex/template/t3/without_data
in second tab

Like explained to the user, the problem seems to come from an issue with the

The problem still persists when the user is using the LibreOffice TDF official

On Arch Linux and very recent versions of Ubuntu, the problem is not present.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124572] tabs in calc (for sheets) and draw (for layer) style

2019-05-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon

I created a bug yesterday #125378 Formatting - 6.3.0.0 Alpha1 has enlarged
sheet tab with lots of wasted space

I do not like the change. My bug shows two screenshots. The old I can see all
20 tabs. The new only shows 15 and requires scrolling. I am not against more
modern look only if it doesn't hurt productivity. I'm all for leaving it the
way it was.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125397] New: iOS App: Template URL - Crash when Opening From Template

2019-05-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125397

Bug ID: 125397
Summary: iOS App: Template URL - Crash when Opening From
Template
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: Other
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: iOS
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: andreas.gruh...@adfinis-sygroup.ch

Description:
The Collabora iOS App (0.1 v34) crashes when opening a file from template. In
the settings, the following template URLs can be used to reproduce the problem:
* https://nicu.winebarrel.ch/tpl_de_ch/00_index.txt
* https://tpl.dev.base4kids2.ch/00_index.txt
* https://in0rdr.github.io/lool-tpl-test/00_index.txt

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use one of the template urls listed above, add them in the iOS Settings for
Collabora
2. Open Collabora
3. Create new document from a template

Actual Results:
1. The url is configured in the settings
2. Collabora opens
3. The templates are listed, but the App crashes when selecting a template

Expected Results:
1. The url is configured in the settings
2. Collabora opens
3. The templates are listed, the App should not crash when selecting a template
but open a new file from the template

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

>From the above comment it appears this change was intentional. I respectfully
disagree that it is more readable but unintentionally adds more
keystrokes/mouse clicks to scroll through the tabs. Does not seem like much
additional but every change like this adds up to make a product slower and less
productive. Is there anything more I can do to voice my concern for this
unnecessary change?

Changed filename extension to RTF and set type to binary, hopefully this allows

Which software do you use to copy the text from?
Do you paste it as Unformatted text?

To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
