[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126775] Text is blurred/fuzzy (on Retina display)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126775 --- Comment #3 from lollyP --- I can also confirm this bug. The fonts in the drop-downs are extremely blurry, as are the document fonts. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126677 --- Comment #1 from Kelly Kevin --- As you said, your story seems to be unique from that by other writers, which I have read. Novel is somehow a fictional story writing in general. But in order to keep the readers thrilled, it should be well written with beauty. Being a journalist, one can get good experience in writing with some flavors. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126775] Text is blurred/fuzzy (on Retina display)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126775 --- Comment #2 from bunkem --- I would like to confirm the fuzzy text. It is in all Libreoffice applications. Earlier today I was running 6.2.5 and had no problems with the text in documents. I got the email about 6.3 release and upgraded. Now all documents have fuzzy text. Version: 6.3.0.4 Build ID: 057fc023c990d676a43019934386b85b21a9ee99 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 10.14.6; UI render: default; VCL: osx; Locale: en-CA (en_CA.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Not sure what changed but the document display is now quite terrible. Documents look bad with the fuzzy text. Exporting the documents to PDF produces excellent output. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126786] New: Print preview corruption during left and right mouse scrolling
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126786 Bug ID: 126786 Summary: Print preview corruption during left and right mouse scrolling Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.5.2 release Hardware: x86 (IA32) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mr.zool...@gmail.com Created attachment 153249 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=153249=edit Example of print preview column repetition bug in calc after using tilt wheel While viewing a zoomed in view of the print preview, I can use my mouse tilt wheel to scroll left or right. The view does shift fine, but at the edges where new text should enter into the screen, the old text is still present. This gives a somewhat 'striped' appearance with repeated text running alongside each other down the screen. I have included a screenshot to help. Notice the green column and the £50 column are repeated. This is after using the tilt wheel to scroll left. This effect remains in force until I move the preview up or down (with the mouse wheel), use the cursor keys to scroll in any direction, or simply move the mouse cursor at all. For reference, the mouse in question is an MS-Intellimouse Explorer 4, the issue is only present in Calc, and only on the print preview. It does not occur in the main screen, or on Writer preview. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125626] fill down command calculates illogical series
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125626 Eike Rathke changed: What|Removed |Added OS|Windows (All) |All Version|6.2.3.2 release |Inherited From OOo Hardware|x86-64 (AMD64) |All Resolution|--- |NOTABUG Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #7 from Eike Rathke --- Calc is not filling a calculated series when dragging down formulas, it's like copy instead. That's also how other major spreadsheet implementations work. In the attached example, as only J8 is chosen as endpoint, it's the same as copy-pasting J6 to J8. It becomes clearer when drag filling J6:J7 down until J9, then J8:J9 are a copy-paste of J6:J7 with keeping the relative references (and thus making them point to 2 rows below). There is no calculation of relative differences between two selected formulas, and there shouldn't be as it would be utterly confusing. Furthermore things would get unpredictable if a third cell was selected that again differs from the previous difference, or if formula cells were "incompatibly" different. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119369] Repeat Table Heading Suddenly Appeared
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119369 --- Comment #4 from DM --- Other major issues with the above type of documents are with tables that find themself floating in the middle of a page with huge gaps from the prior text which they are meant to be adjacent to, which is often fixed by going to the text immediately above it (way above because of the gap) and adding a CR and it jumps back to its place. There may be a connection between these two bugs because both are very frequent and both seem to relate to an inability to get the right position. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119369] Repeat Table Heading Suddenly Appeared
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119369 --- Comment #3 from DM --- Created attachment 153236 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=153236=edit Repeatable Example The attached example shows the problem in a repeatable way. Go to p15 and delete the carriage returns above Holly Blue, save and reopen - you will find all the arrows and labels completely mangled. I found also in moving them back (or creating new ones) and resaving, they just jump back again but adding CR before that table makes them ok. Much of the time they have not been repeatable, yet happen all the time, because you often only discover on reopening the document or when you look further down the document and find an impact. This isn't the only problem. In general, I'm using pictures in table cells with drawing elements (arrows and text boxes) and they are constantly mangled by all sorts of processes - moving something somewhere else in the document (you discover later the mangling), moving the table (particularly cut and paste - dragging to a new place seems to be much much safer). It's far worse when you have a single table so I am using 1 or 2-row tables that are separate and this 'contains' the mangling to individual tables and allows reordering the tables by drag-and-drop without wrecking the drawing elements in the document so much. I have to take a PDF snapshot all the time, so I can check every day etc what gets mangled and fix it back. In terms of quality level the bug puts tables-with-drawing-objects as not fit for production, but I am using Libreoffice because it can export without quality loss, so I can put little insets which people can zoom into on a PDF program. The issue is that the day of the month value in a date is displayed as the number of days since the beginning of the year. For example, February 4 is displayed as 2/35/19 instead of 2/4/19. I believe this is a bug in Calc as an .xlsx spreadsheet created in Microsoft Excel with the same dates displays correctly on an iOS device (iPad/iPhone) with the device’s default viewer. This issue has been observed on multiple iPads and iPhones. However, the date is displayed correctly in Calc, Excel and an Android’s default spreadsheet viewer. Attached to this bug are four files. Two files are similar test case .xlsx spreadsheets – one created using Calc and the other using Microsoft Excel 2013. The other two files are screenshots of those two .xlsx spreadsheets when viewed on an iPad with iOS 12.3.1.
