Dear Xisco Faulí,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,

Bug ID: 127540
   Summary: menu About > Show License crashes
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: All
OS: Android
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: medium
 Component: Android Viewer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: lo_b...@iseries-guru.com

Menu options About > Show License exits program abruptly.

I have updated to
master~2019-09-13_06.00.54_LibreOfficeViewer-strippedUIEditing-debug.apk
which is commit c5d37d32, running on a Samsung Galaxy J3, running
kernel version 3.18.14-14435608-QB19866303, 2018-09-20.

For comparison, my previous version of Android Viewer executing the
same menu options gave error message:

Cannot open /assets/license.txt: Unsupported URL
: "type detection failed"

I am setting severity minor.

Verified it happens to me with en-US as locale but not with es-ES.

I'm not sure what kind of bug, because with en-US introducing 'Sep 12 19'
doesn't show the issue. So it's really strange a wrong date for en-US that once
work and the next not.

With:
 m_nResultSetConcurrency(css::sdbc::ResultSetConcurrency::UPDATABLE)
instead of
 m_nResultSetConcurrency(css::sdbc::ResultSetConcurrency::READ_ONLY)

+ empty implementation of com/sun/star/sdbc/XResultSetUpdate.hpp, I don't have
the error message.
The pb now is what to put in these new methods...

--- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote  ---
The actual gtk widget used is "discard" [1] and its .UI labeling here of
"_Don't Save" is translatable for l10n needs.

While "_Discard" would be equally acceptable label, no compelling reason to
change from the "_Don't Save" nor to adjust the accelerator for "en" locales.

The other place where "_Discard" is used is in the Document Recovery dialog,
but where the label and accelerator is _Discard, but the gtk widget is actually
to "cancel" the recovery. Its use is also translatable for l10n.

So, IMHO here => NAB and WF -- the effort is up to the dev that writes the core
en-US source and then the respective translators working l10n.

After having waited for the whole build whereas I just added some traces on
dbaccess part, the pb is m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate isn't defined.
Here are the console logs:
m_nResultSetConcurrency == ResultSetConcurrency::READ_ONLY=0
!m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate.is()=1

Opengroking "m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate" gives:
https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/search?project=core=m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate==full

m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate.set(m_xDelegatorResultSet, css::uno::UNO_QUERY);
in the ctr.

m_xDelegatorResultSet is initialized some lines above, still in ctr:
m_xDelegatorResultSet(_xResultSet)

Then I'm a bit stuck.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125251] Sometimes a graph is not a graph

2019-09-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125251

--- Comment #8 from Stéphane Aulery  ---
Are you kiding? I already give you all information I have and the documents
attached reproduce the bug, even if I do not have the answer to your question.

The documents dates from 2011. How would you like the reporter to know what he
has done now (if he answers). All I understand is that the documents attached
show the bug described still today (I have tested, twice).

It's not my responsibility to do all the tests. I have already taken some time
putting the debian information back to you and identifying 4 different errors
and making a second, simpler document to better identify the problem:

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125250

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125251

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125252

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125253

So make an effort and examine them, or say openly that essential information is
missing and close the bug, or that you do not want to treat it (for X or Y
reason) and take responsibility for what you say, but do not try to trample, do
your homework...

Thanks,

--- Comment #28 from Timur  ---
Robert, thank you for following your bug report.
But please make it simple for testers and explain clearly: what is experienced
and expected result.
You say "The result of the subtotals doesn't have the formatting" but I see
formatting on screenshots.
Please write on screenshots and maybe make some manually as you expect (in
other color to be seen).
Please then test with new profile (you may rename "user" folder down in
%AppData%\LibreOffice\).

No crash for me in Windows 7. Due to Comment 16, I tested in Mint 18.3 but also
no crash. So that comment remains unclear, is it with this same file.

So far we have indication it's Windows 10 and I add to title. You who
reproduce, please write Windows version.
And test both with 6.1 where it happened and master that is 6.4+ now. Than
please update OS if not, that helped in Bug 126995 when updated to 1903.
Also please try with normal PDF export, but with different options.
Until then, I set Needinfo.

I made the changes so:
- ODatabaseMetaData::supportsResultSetConcurrency always returns true
- ODatabaseMetaData::supportsResultSetType always returns true

+
- ODatabaseMetaData::isReadOnly always returns false
- OResultSet::OResultSet contains:
 m_nResultSetConcurrency(css::sdbc::ResultSetConcurrency::UPDATABLE)
instead of
 m_nResultSetConcurrency(css::sdbc::ResultSetConcurrency::READ_ONLY)

Still the same error ("The result set is read-only") :-(

tdf#117274 XLSX export: fix VML comment shape type id
from this morning.

But I don't know, whether this is the only error.

A developer build containing this fix, will be available in about 2 days.
Please test, whether that fix will resolve all problems. You can get developer
builds from https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/. They can be
installed parallel to your productive version. And as it is no release build,
only test it with a copy of your document.

I set the bug to "NEEDINFO", so that it is clear, that a reaction from you is
expected. There are so many bugs, that it is necessary, to identify the
problems very clearly, before a developer touches it.

(Please, next time you report a bug, reduce the content as far as possible. It
is cumbersome to find diagrams in such long document in the source.)

So, I'm sitting with btomi96 right now... The firebird driver says it supports
only read-only in ODatabaseMetaData::supportsResultSetConcurrency in
DatabaseMetaData.cxx

That's why... That needs to be enlarged. What we should declare as supported
exactly is not 100% clear at this point. For testing purposes (not ready to
commit), just change this (and ODatabaseMetaData::supportsResultSetType above)
to always return true.

And you'll also need to support/test record deletion and insertion, see the IDL
interface, should be not too hard to write the test code for that.

Typing this on windbg:
bp `resultset.cxx:987`
then launching the test again, Windbg stops.
Calling callstack gives:
dbalo!dbaccess::OResultSet::checkReadOnly+0x46
dbalo!dbaccess::OResultSet::updateString+0x70
mscx_uno!`anonymous namespace'::cpp_call+0xcf7
mscx_uno!unoInterfaceProxyDispatch+0x47e
reflectionlo!stoc_corefl::IdlInterfaceMethodImpl::invoke+0xbe2
sblo!SbUnoObject::Notify+0x12b3
svllo!SfxBroadcaster::Broadcast+0xb0
sblo!SbxVariable::Broadcast+0x1b5
sblo!SbxValue::SbxValue+0x1a3

982  void OResultSet::checkReadOnly() const
983  {
984  if  (   ( m_nResultSetConcurrency == ResultSetConcurrency::READ_ONLY )
985  ||  !m_xDelegatorResultSetUpdate.is()
986  )
987 throwSQLException( "The result set is read-only.",
StandardSQLState::GENERAL_ERROR, *const_cast< OResultSet* >( this ) );
988  }
and indeed Firebird contains:
m_nResultSetConcurrency(css::sdbc::ResultSetConcurrency::READ_ONLY)
See
https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/connectivity/source/drivers/firebird/ResultSet.cxx?r=d4ef035e#68

I'll investigate this after mid-day break.

--- Comment #12 from Lionel Elie Mamane ---
The said wrapper code seems to be in dbaccess/source/core/api/datacolumn.cxx
and does exactly what I suggested (call XRowUpdate with the column number
filled in, passing the value).

Oh. It definitely works with other drivers. It must be implemented by some
wrapper code then. Just don't do it, finish the XRowUpdate part, and I guess it
will just work like in the other drivers.

--- Comment #2 from Babbles  ---
Users can copy and paste within the Writer using the Writer menu. It is a
hamburger menu in the upper right of Writer. However, this is only within
Writer, and the clipboard contents can't be transferred to the outside
(application). Or, clipboard contents can't be transferred to Writer from
outside.

Taking a look at
https://opengrok.libreoffice.org/search?project=core=%22XColumnUpdate.hpp%22==defs,
there's no driver in connectivity which implements this.
But let's say Firebird would be the first one.

To start with this part, should I duplicate the new update functions from
ResultSet in Columns file + just remove column index?
+ #include  in
connectivity/source/drivers/firebird/Column.hxx (or Columns.hxx ?)

I'm asking but I'll give it a try only after ResultSet part to avoid some
confusion (above all for me! :-)).

Oups!
I made the change, I got this error now:
BASIC runtime error.
An exception occurred
Type: com.sun.star.sdbc.SQLException
Message: The result set is read-only..

BTW, is it for line 4 "DBDocUI = ThisDatabaseDocument.currentController"
or  "DBDocUI = ThisDatabaseDocument().currentController"
(since line 14 has:  get_stmt =
ThisDatabaseDocument().currentController.ActiveConnection.createStatement())

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 116936] Firebird SDBC should implement XRowUpdate interface

2019-09-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116936

--- Comment #7 from Lionel Elie Mamane ---
For column, the interface is
css::sdb::XColumnUpdate
https://api.libreoffice.org/docs/idl/ref/interfacecom_1_1sun_1_1star_1_1sdb_1_1XColumnUpdate.html#a9e6ad31e91c912e9f1dfa7480d9e312a

Basically, the same thing as in css:sdbc::XRowUpdate, except that it is called
on a column, so the columnIndex argument is not there, since the object itself
it is called on (the column!) says what column that is. One way to implement it
is to just call the XRowUpdate interface with the column number filled in,
passing the value along.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127536] New: Can't copy and paste (system popup-menu is not displayed) on Writer

2019-09-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127536

Bug ID: 127536
   Summary: Can't copy and paste (system popup-menu is not
displayed) on Writer
   Product: LibreOffice Online
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: iOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: satoshi.in...@courio-city.com

Using Writer on iOS, the user wants to copy and paste, but can't call the
system pop-up menu and can't do that.
The user wants to copy and paste using Writer on an iOS devices, but even if
the user touch-and-holds, the system pop-up menu can't be called, so copy or
paste is not possible.

In Calc, users can't copy (pop-up menu) on a cell, but users can do it in the
formula bar.

I got:
"BASIC runtime error.
Object variable not set."
at the line 4:
DBDocUI = ThisDatabaseDocument.currentController

Idem if I put:
DBDocUI = ThisDatabaseDocument().currentController

About column, could you provide a bit more information? What interface/idl to
implement? What example can I use or code pointer?

And before anybody says SQLite, it does not have SQL-style static typing (it
does dynamic typing), has no true date datatype (and column type; the ODBC
driver kindof does its own implementation of that...), etc, etc.
