The user-defined category is taken into paragraph styles as children of Caption. So far so good - you can edit the name, delete, modify. Hi! I tried with new profile with the same result. I have the same result either with 6.3.x and 6.4.x. I couldn't locate option 'Use OpenGL for all rendering'. I guess it is not used in my case. There are also no such file /cache/opengl_device.log in new as well as in old profile. 'Allow use of OpenCL' option is unchecked and I can't activate it. There are also no files /cache/opencl_devices.log and opencl_profile.xml in the installation or profile folder. Similar error appeared some time ago in chart component and it was related to gtk. They are not the same. The O fonts are the original ones, whereas the G fonts are modified to include Graphite features, see https://numbertext.org/linux/. Under Windows you get the G version, because that what is bundled with LO. Under Linux you're not using the TDF build of LO, but the build supplied by your distro, and it's their decision to not follow our font bundling. So what you get is the original O version from the system fonts-linuxlibertine package, which has nothing to do with LO. There's nothing we can do about it. > Steps to Reproduce: > 1. Create a ODT document on Windows with Linux Biolinum G font with LO 6.3.1 > 2. Open it on Linux with the same version > > Actual Results: > The font Linux Biolinum is not recognized > > Expected Results: > It would be great if the same font is here with the same name. The solution is simple: Just download the G version of the font and install it on your Linux system. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127752] New: Lines cut off or hidden after reflow due to adding/removing footer in two-column page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127752 Bug ID: 127752 Summary: Lines cut off or hidden after reflow due to adding/removing footer in two-column page Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.1.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: eyal...@technion.ac.il Reproduction instruction 1. Open the attached document. It has a Heading 2 line just before the end of the first (rightmost) column on the first page; that line's text is "Third H2 line". 2. Be in Page Layout view. 3. Scroll to the bottom of the first page. 4. Create a Footer (default settings; either using the Footer pop-up at the bottom of the page, or through the menus: Format|Page|Footer). The "Third H2 line" has reflowed to the second (leftmost) column on the first page. 5. Delete the footer (either using the drop-down menu of the Footer pop-up box, or through the menus: Format|Page|Footer). Expected outcome After the footer is created, all lines of text are fully rendered, somewhere. After the footer is deleted, The "Third H2 line" is again rendered at the bottom of the first column. Also, the top of the first column, with a "First H2 line" line, is visible. Actual outcome -- After the footer is created, the bottom line of text is cut off in mid-line, i.e. only the top part of it is rendered. See attached screenshot. After the footer is deleted, there seems to be no reflow, but rather some weird sort of up-shifting of the entire text area, of both columns. Additionally, the upper lines of the two columns are now hidden behind a white area - the margin perhaps? If we save the document, close it and reload, the rendering is valid again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The short answer: the bug is still present in safe mode. Long answer: * installed Debian Buster/32 Bit from scratch on a newly created VirtualBox 6.0.12 VM * installed all Debian updates, and the VBox guest additions * removed all libreoffice deb's installed during the Buster install * downloaded the packages LibreOffice_6.2.7_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz and LibreOffice_6.2.7_Linux_x86_deb_langpack_de.tar.gz (just to be sure, if i18n/l10n makes any difference), and installed all deb's from both * launched libreoffice6.2 from a terminal * selected from the menu (German Locale) “Hilfe -> Im abgesicherten Modus neu starten…” and from the dialogue “Im abgesicherten Modus fortfahren” (= “safe mode”) * opened a new Writer document; window title says “[…] abgesicherter Modus” * leave Writer idle for ~35 minutes: soffice.bin goes to 100% CPU in top Note 1: compared to the earlier tests in normal mode, it took longer for the issue to pop up in safe mode. As this is just a single test, I don't know if this is of any significance, though. Note 2: on the MacBookPro5,5 (which is my wife's “production” machine, so I could not run the safe mode test there yet), the effect occurred on a freshly installed system, i.e. with a default profile. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127633] Relative Cells
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127633 --- Comment #7 from Tomaz Vajngerl --- Actually the only thing I can think of that would make this simple and not blow up in complexity is to support a relative referencing from the current cell you edit the formula in, which will immediately change. Something like (left 1 up 1) (right 2 down 4). If the cursor is in cell C13 this would be replaced immediately with B12 and E17. BTW. implementing Table functionality from Excel would solve some of the issues as with Tables you can reference with the named column or row and with auto-completion this gets easy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 127262] Cell range selection in data validity function doesn't work any more
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127262 --- Comment #8 from Julien Nabet --- Andis: I gave a new try with LO Debian package 6.3.2.1 and gtk3, I don't reproduce this. Could you give a try to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ? Also, could you launch LO from console and see if there are any error/warning messages? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 124418] 'Pick a Color' dialog: Give option to add a color to the custom palette
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124418 --- Comment #4 from Thomas Lendo --- Adding such a button to the 'Pick a Color' dialog is a good idea. But the dialog already is very high. Can we add the button without making the dialog bigger? I like the button name in your mockup, Heiko, as it describes what the command does. A short 'Capture' or 'Add' will not be understood. After clicking on that, the 'Name' dialog opens as it does when adding a custom color via the Area color tab? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
