[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 125662] Bad allocation crash while saving Calc with copied columns (x86)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125662 --- Comment #5 from MarvinWWW --- I am also seeing this problem A LOT over the past few days (since 25 November 2019). I have two large files that I can send to you that should help in isolating the problem, but I do not quite see how to attach them to this form. One of the files is a text version of the Windows 10 System Information (about 0.8 Mbytes) so you can see the specifications of my computer and the Windows 10 version number and all of those things. The other file is an actual spreadsheet file (.ods file) that causes the problem very consistently. It is about 15 Mbytes. I only have 1 Mbit/sec internet, so I do not want to attach the files incorrectly and waste a lot of time, then find out that I have to start again. For now, I can tell you that I have spent a lot of time using LibreOffice Calc over the past few years. About nine months ago I installed LibreOffice 6.1.5 and used it up until this week creating a dozen or so *large* spreadsheets with file sizes of 180 Mbytes or more. These are slow to load and slow to save, but other than that they *had* been working fine. Suddenly that all changed this week. I cannot seem to do the simplest operation in any of those large files without getting a Bad Allocation error message when I try to save my changes. I started all over on a new file and gradually built it up to be very much like my other files. When it reached about 15 Mbytes in size, I started getting the Bad Allocation error. It has lots of tabs (lots of sheets) but in particular it has two named Orig Historical Price Data and Orig Historical Cap Data. The first of these two contains almost 4000 records. I would like the second of these two to be an exact copy of the first (as a starting point for my work). However, I can only copy a few hundred records from one to the other and still save the changes. If I copy thousands of records from one to the other, then I get a Bad Allocation message when I try to save the changes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129093 Bug ID: 129093 Summary: Could we implement a command minibuffer a la "search command" in Microsoft Office or execute-extended-command in emacs Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: 1463809...@qq.com Sometime I wanted to use a function, but it could be hard finding this function through toolbars and menus. It could be with writer, calc or impress. In Microsoft Office there is the "search command" feature, which is a one line text input box in the UI, there I could write some keywords, and it gives a pull-down menu of candidate actions, then by clicking on one of the candidate actions, I could apply some formatting, insert an object, or open a config dialog. The feature was reported[1]. It could be nice to have something analogous in LibreOffice. And there is the execute-extended-command in emacs, usually bound to M-x, which prompts for a command int the minibuffer, then executes that command after hitting return. execute-extended-command accepts exact command names. Many other softwares also have some similar concept. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 109425] Libreoffice Notebookbar is not exposing accessible events needed for screen reader users.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109425 --- Comment #21 from Jim Raykowski --- Hi Andreas, I should have jumped in earlier to let you know I was testing the patches. Here are some concerns I've found with Notebookbar_single.ui 1) I think Default-Grow and Default-Shrink buttons need to be visible. 2) Draw-FormatArea button does the same action as Draw-FormatArea2 button. There is differences in visible when horizontal/vertical and icon. Are both required? 3) Similar to 2, Grapic-GraphicDialog1 button does the same action as Graphic-GraphicDialog button in the GraphicContainer 4) Print preview only shows undo and paste buttons. To show all the buttons in the print container the visible property needs to be set to True. I haven't investigated why it is required in the .ui file to be set visible for the PrintContainer and not for the other containers. True 5) Crash occurs in print preview when Close Preview button is pressed - can be reproduced in previous versions. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129087] Can not uninstall 6.3.2.2
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129087 --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote --- Find the MSI installers for the prior (6.3.2.2 build); donwload them again [1] if you'd deleted from your system. Bet sure to get the correct installer for your locale and prior install. First though restart the computer. Then launch a Windows Command prompt, or PowerShell, 'run as administrator' to get an admin level prompt. Next change directory for the command window or powershell to where you downloaded the msi installer packages. Want to first uninstall the LibreOffice Help, then the main LibreOffice program. But in case things go wrong again you'll want to capture a verbose log of the uninstall. Enter these commands one at a time (adjust the package name): msiexc.exe /X LibreOffice_6.3.2.2_Win_x64_helppack_en-US.msi /L*v uninstallHelpLog.txt msiexc.exe /X LibreOffice_6.3.2.2_Win_x64.msi /L*v uninstallLog.txt And, if uninstall still goes wrong, the logs will have some details on what happened. Zip them up and attach--we'll have a look. Hope that clears things up and you can proceed to install 6.3.3 or 6.3.4, or even the pending 6.4.0rc. But you may have to reset the installer cache--but that is something more involved. =-ref-= [1] https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129085] New: From version 6.2.8, images in Writer not printed
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129085 Bug ID: 129085 Summary: From version 6.2.8, images in Writer not printed Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.2.8.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mar...@sugit.nl Description: I have ~100 invoices with 4 images (logos etc). Up until version 6.1.1.2, these print perfectly OK. Now upgraded to version 6.3.3.2: one image prints, 3 images do not print (in all of those documents that earlier printed fine). I tested this on Win7(64) and Win10(64), and also tested version 6.2.8. Exporting to a PDF does show the images as expected. This is a workaround: printing the PDF works fine. Steps to Reproduce: I have also tried de-installing that new 6.3.3.2, removing all stuff in ...\Roaming\..., still same result. I have also tried changing Settings-LibreOffice-View-Use OpenGL to not checked, still same. De-installing the new version and then installing the old 6.1.1.2 completely solves the problem. Actual Results: Topmost logo is printed, 3 images at the bottom do not print. Expected Results: Print all 4 images. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: The user profile can not be the cause, as I tested this also on a PC with no former installation of LibreOffice. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
