When I add text boxes to a slide with the insert text box tool, I do see a blue border around the box when I click on it, and clicking on the blue border shows the resize boxes. I also noticed that the action area for this blue border extends a few pixels into the text box so it's easier to activate. This behavior is just fine... Either use the resizing squares, or position the mouse on the invisible line between the squares to drag the box It would help if we could make the resizing squares always show up around the text box while typing, and also show dotted lines between them to give a hint about where to put the mouse to move the box. The test is better if you do a string that cover many lines (10 lines). At the end of the line, the continuation continues on the next line and this for the 10 lines. This is normal. Now I insert a picture in the document with wrap to "page wrap" or " "optimal page wrap" or left or right wrap. put the picture a the right of the page, under the string. Move up the picture to be inside the string.AT the begining this is good. But if the picture cross the first line of the string, the first line can't be break by hyphenation and all the paragraph is move to the buttom of the picture. So paragraph presentation is wrong with the picture. I have see this probleme since several versions. Steps to Reproduce: 1.type a very ling string in writer (10 lines) 2.insert picture (width 4cm for exemple) 3.put the picture on the right of paragraph string 4. if the picture cross the first string line, all the string if move under the picture Actual Results: all the string if move under the picture Expected Results: 1er line must be break by hyphenation like the line 2 and the next to have a correct presentation. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached simple Calc table with some text in A1:A4 and in B1:B4 with B3 empty. 2. Copy the B1:B4 range and paste it while standing on A1 with Paste Special -> Unformatted text. 3. The Text Import dialog shows and the preview shows that the third cell would be empty. Click OK. Actual Results: The third cell is not overwritten with the empty cell. Expected Results: (1) The normal Ctrl-V paste would overwrite A3 with the empty cell content in B3. (2) The user who reported this issue expects that Paste Special -> Unformatted text would also empty the cell. This does not happen, because the Text Import window has a “Skip empty cells” option that is turned on by default. Also: turning it off does not seem to make a difference, that might be another bug. (3) The “no overwrite with empty cell” result could be achieved by enabling the Paste Special dialogs Skip empty cells option. “Skip empty cells” is off by default so using Paste Special -> Paste Special and only pasting Text, Numbers, Date & time gives also the same result as in (1). To sum it: options (1) and (3) are overwriting the cell content by default, but (2) does not. I’m not sure whether this is intentional or not. Syncing the default setting of “Skip empty cells” between the Text Import and Paste Special dialogs would be a solution to this. As I can see, this bug exists for many years. I am not totally sure, but I believe this bug appears only when you copy paste a formula, but not every time. If you create a new formula, (I believe) the bug does not appear. I read the comments. Many people suggest OpenGL on/off and such things. They are wrong. Content of formula KILLED BADLY from program. Only a thumbnail of formula exists. Contents inside formula are rollback to the contents of the origin formula (of copy-paste).
