https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126561 --- Comment #4 from Larea Jack --- Youtube Kids For PC is particularly designed to entertain the kids. The Google team that has developed YouTube Kids has taken great care while building it up in order to provide a safer use of the YouTube application for the kids but even with this much though that is their in this application, if one ever finds a video that should be in reach of the children it can be flagged immediately so that team gets to know of it. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130274] New: Crash in: swlo.dll
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130274 Bug ID: 130274 Summary: Crash in: swlo.dll Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: davelovel...@gmail.com This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-9f81bc62-9ab6-44e2-84ae-60f1799fa619. = This has been turning up with distressing frequency. I finally managed to reproduce it consistently with a very simple document. 1. Open a new Writer document. 2. Edit -> Track Changes Make sure Record and Show are both turned on. 3. Type in the following sentence (without the quotes): "This is a test, in fact a new test." 4. Select the whole sentence and accept the changes. 5. Attempt in the following manner to make this into two sentences: i. Select the text ", i". (Just the comma, the single blank, and the "i") ii. Attempt to type in ". I" (period, two blanks, capital "I") Somewhere in this (5. ii.) it always crashes. With this example, I think it's consistently been when I type the period. In the large, complex documents, with similar but not identical fragments, I think it's usually been when I get to the uppercase "I". In any case, I'm not sure what's relevant, except that the text being replaced always begins with a comma and a blank, and I THINK that the first character after the blank has always been a lowercase "i". YMMV, of course. Best I can give you. Hope it helps. Here's what "about" shows (the top part): Version: 6.2.8.2 (x64) Build ID: f82ddfca21ebc1e222a662a32b25c0c9d20169ee CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded This is running on Windows 10, on a couple of different computers. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 100018] FORMATTING: copying/pasting text to the first character of footnote changes paragraph style to the copied text's style instead of 'footnote' paragraph style
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100018 --- Comment #14 from William Friedman --- It may very well be that the behavior is "reasonable" or logically consistent with the way the software was designed (but then why does the insertion of a single space change the behavior?), but it is not "correct" from the perspective of the user. It seems highly counterproductive to me to argue that the software be "used in the way it was designed to be used"; software should serve the user's needs, not the other way around. Perhaps this specific problem could be solved by an extension or in some other way that doesn't require major surgery, but it is certainly a "bug" and not merely an "enhancement" from the user's perspective. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98381 --- Comment #14 from William Friedman --- One further issue regarding the "solution" to insert a single space: if the pasted text has a hard return in it, then all the lines after the hard return will be pasted in the original style rather than the new one. This is easy to reproduce: Type two lines of text separated by a hard return, then start a new line in a different style, insert a space, and paste the two lines of text. The first line before the hard return will be in the selected style, and the line after the hard return will be in the text's original style. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130265] New: Implement "Automatically insert a decimal point" feature as seen in Excel
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130265 Bug ID: 130265 Summary: Implement "Automatically insert a decimal point" feature as seen in Excel Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ckn...@protonmail.com Description: MS Excel has a feature called "Automatically Insert a decimal point" that allows you to insert a decimal point of an entered value. For example: input value into cell: 12345 and you have the program set to insert a decimal, two places from the right end. So after inputting that value and pressing ENTER, the software will change it to: 123.45. This is useful in accounting environments where you want to enter the the value and it will ALWAYS have a decimal two from the right side. This is 1 less keystroke per cell when entering data. It is important that the actual value is changed (divided by 100 when decimal is selected to be 2 places from the right side, 1000 if 3 places, etc.) and not simply changing what is DISPLAYED. Since this will be used for math functions/accounting. (see additional information for examples and other resource material) Steps to Reproduce: 1.Input 12300 into cell 2. Press ENTER key Actual Results: 12300 Expected Results: 123.00 Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I have inquired about this feature in the libreoffice forums, here: https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/222592/calc-insert-decimal-two-digits-from-end-of-number/ Microsoft support article that describes this feature that they have: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/advanced-options-33244b32-fe79-4579-91a6-48b3be0377c4 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
