[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130830] New: Writer: Inconsistent language in table cell having multiple languages after applying Currency number format
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130830 Bug ID: 130830 Summary: Writer: Inconsistent language in table cell having multiple languages after applying Currency number format Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.1.0.4 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mikekagan...@hotmail.com 1. In a new text document, insert a table 2. Type "123" in cell A1 3. Select "12" and set selection language to en-US; select "3" and set selection language to Russian 4. Put cursor in A1 after the last character (after "3"); see that "Russian" is displayed in status bar 5. Apply Currency number format using "Number Format: Currency" button from Table toolbar Actual result: the number is displayed "$123.00", *but* the *whole cell* language is now Russian. Expected: either the currency must follow the language of current cursor position (and in this case, become Rubles), or the cell language must become that which was used to choose the currency (likely the language of the start of the number). Current behaviour is inconsistent. Already reproducible with Version: 4.1.0.0.beta2 Build ID: 33224f4f11a05cfad2249e812fcc2975fbb61f6 and still is the case with Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) Build ID: bae73c0726e7fdf7f427a8254c9d6d4b4c510daf CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 18363; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win; Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL Not reproducible with Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89) in which it simply doesn't apply the currency formatting to a cell with multiple languages, so I don't know if this qualifies as a regression. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130829 Bug ID: 130829 Summary: Wrong formula in sheet with Pivot Table Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ Master Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: suokunl...@126.com Created attachment 158066 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=158066=edit Test XLSX file Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the attached xlsx file with Calc. 2. Compare with MSO ("expected screenshot") Expected Result: The formulas in column D should be set on the same rows as "cat" and "dog". Current Result: The formulas in column D are set on the wrong rows. Due to this, if you do "Data > Calculation > Force Recalculation (Ctrl + Shift + F9), you will get #VALUE! in cell D4. Actually the reason for this bug may be due to the fact that Calc inserted a new row (i.e., row 3 which is showing as "Data"). Reproduced in both 6.3 branch and the current master. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 80270] FORMATTING: if a Table of contents (TOC) in Writer is over two pages, it is impossible to change page style of the second page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80270 --- Comment #4 from Mike Kaganski --- It worked that way already in OOo 3.2.0. So I cannot understand what's missing, and what is the proposed enhancement. Both ways is and was working: the "proper" one using page styles' "Next style", and using manual page breaks with page styles. Since the actual *proposal* is missing (like "Add this"), and the premise is wrong (it's in fact *possible* to change page style of the second page), I suggest close INVALID. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

It could be the same functionality as with the "Clone Formatting". E.g. If a Non-formatted text and a bold text are in the same selection, then the clone tool is pressed, when pasted, the clone tool seems to ignore any format selected. It's too confusing to know what the user wants to paste, and I agree with that. In Google Docs, they seem to have a different approach. I haven't quite figured out the logic behind the function. Now I understand. This is NAB. My confusion arose because, I could physically place a frame above the "dotted line" which marks the header. But I understand now that the critical feature is not the physical location of the frame, but whether it is "anchored" in the header. So, it is possible to anchor a frame to a paragraph in the header, but place the frame physically in the middle of the page, and it will be repeated across all the pages. Or anchor a frame to a page, but place it in the Header Area (Case B), then then it only shows on the page where anchored. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 120663] No impress remote: Impress incompatible with current bluetooth stack on linux (RFCOMM server failed for LibreOffice Impress Remote: rfcomm_bind: Address already in use)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=120663 --- Comment #12 from felix.hu...@schyf.de --- This issue was annoying me for a while too. So I sat down and debugged bluez to see why the bind fails: LO is using the default channel (3) for the RFCOMM protocol as it should be. However, the bind call fails, because another process has already bound that channel via DBUS. Changing the default RFCOMM channel in the bluez source temporaliy to 2 (UDP, unused) and recompiling bluez made remote impress work immediately! So I inspected the DBUS users via the old mdbus tool from openmoko and it turned out that the other process is PulseAudio: The HS profile needs the RFCOMM for the AT Commands and registers channel 3. Stop PA and impress remote works again. So now we have two programs that need RFCOMM for the mobile phone. :-( One solution would be that LO explicitly requests channel 2 instead of the default one. Channel 2 is UDP and unused to my knowledge. This will work until another programm needs RFCOMM and chooses 2 as a free channel... Or, in the long run, there needs to be some kind of multipexing between the apps that use the RFCOMM protocol. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
