[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132016] New: Pivot Chart Select Data Range Selection

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132016

Bug ID: 132016
Summary: Pivot Chart Select Data Range Selection
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.1.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: flywi...@gmail.com

Description:
"The data range and the data series pages of the chart wizard are not enabled.
They are controlled by the pivot table."

I understand a pivot chart is created from the first column of numbers in the
pivot table. It would be useful to select data column/row to be charted similar
to non-pivot chart functionality.

Steps to Reproduce:
It is not possible to produce a Pie chart of item by Weight if the following
pivot table is displayed.

Sample data:
ItemVolume Weight
Alpha 4 3
Gamma 16 8
Beta54 2

Actual Results:
Pie chart with Item by Volume

Expected Results:
Pie chart with Volume by weight

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 101211] "Previous page" and "Next page" functions in navigator not available for keyboard binding

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101211

Some findings:

When the view is scrolled to a page that does not have the cursor, 'Page
Up/Down' (.uno:PageUp/Down) scroll the view and reposition the cursor relative
to the current page in the view.

'To Beginning of Previous/Next Page' (.uno:GotoStartOfNext/PrevPage) scroll is
done relative to the page with the cursor.

E.g. Cursor is located on page 2 and view is scrolled to show page 10. 'To
Beginning of Previous Page' scrolls view to page 1 versus 'Page Up' which
either scrolls to page 10 or page 9 and positions cursor in one or the other.
'Navigate By Page' follows the Page Up/Down behavior of page scrolling relative
to the view.

The first approach for the new 'To Previous/Next Page' commands follow the same
scroll behavior as 'To Begining of Previous/Next Page', scroll relative to page
of cursor. The second approach (Patch Set 4) follows 'Page Up/Down' behavior,
scroll relative to page in view.

I can not reproduce with LO 6.3.5 on Windows 10:
Version: 6.3.5.2 (x64)

CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win;
Locale: zh-CN (zh_CN); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

The extension installs (for the current user only) without any error message.
After restarting LO, the extenstion appears active in the manager, and the File
-> Export to OmegaT Glossary menu item exists. Didn't see any toolbar button,
though.

(In reply to Óvári from comment #14)
Or perhaps have a newline character (\n ) before the percentage 38?

As the percentage could be replaced by an absolute value, i.e. Amount of money
USD, HUF.

The newline character before the labels would then work without the
non-breaking space creativity.

Thank you

Would it be better to have a non-breaking space or remove the space between the

I also use pdfcreator since years, and with it I can reproduce the isse with
portrait or landscape for the page.

BTW with 643 print the graphics fine, but in portrait no in landscape.

File saved by Karbon

If the style:page-layout element is not in sub-file styles.xml but in
content.xml, then this element is not read by LibreOffice. That position is
allowed in ODF and use by Karbon (Calligra-suite).

The attachment has the file as saved by Karbon. The next attachment has the
original file as created by LibreOffice.

This appears to be a LibreOffice PDF export not an actual print. PDF export is
fine. It's about 'real' printing (except I'm using a PDF printer; PDFcreator in
my case)

I'm sure there is already an bug report about this.

It would be very usefull to define the default line, area and text style for
shapes you draw.

For example you draw an shape it's always
- area fill style: light blue 1
- line fill style: dark blue 1
- text style: 18 px

It would be very usefull to define once the shape style and than right click
"set as default style" so all you draw after that will have the same style than
the stuff you right click.

This will solve one part. the other part the direction. As per this
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/writing-mode

writing-mode: rl-tb is deprecated it should be horizontal-tb.

After that we need to set the direction CSS property to be direction: rtl;

and the last is how we can set the direction CSS property for . I suggest
to be same as language of the LibreOffice GUI.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132010] New: ENHANCEMENT: A selection tool for images in draw for easy cropping of raster images

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132010

Bug ID: 132010
Summary: ENHANCEMENT: A selection tool for images in draw for
easy cropping of raster images
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: Inherited From OOo
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Draw
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: tele...@surfxs.nl

Description:
I always want to use Draw for some very basic image editing (combined with some
drawings). Yes, Draw is a vector graphics drawing tool.. I know. Anyhow,
cropping bit a disaster. I often only want to have a part (say the center part)
of an image. It's quite a hassle doing that with the cropping tool. It's far
easier to drag a selection around the part I want (and cut & paste).

Except, Draw doesn't have selection tool. A basic one will really do. Put it on
the image toolbar

Steps to Reproduce:
1. insert an image
2. Try to crop the inner part

Actual Results:
Hassle with the crop tool

Expected Results:
Selection tool (cut/paste)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Version: 7.0.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 4501a0ba623ad61c5a4e0b807da2e96f0e4ce82c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win;

Probably you need to check the printer settings and see if lock is not enabled.
Nowdays printer come up with the print release function where the doc is not

It is fairly easy to revert this. https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/91996

However, that won't do much except to allow a one-time import. Exporting has
never round-tripped the values, and it is irrelevant for viewing - only for
editing - and so round-tripping support is essential.

Everything about numbering is crazy - since we have to emulate what Word does
which isn't exactly how LO does things - and grabbagging is probably useless
for numbering. At this point I can't even understand Microsoft's documentation
on how this is SUPPOSED to work. But I'll try and see if I can work out what to
do for exporting...

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132009] New: After update to 6.4.2.2: Split database only accessible while running in Safe Mode

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132009

Bug ID: 132009
Summary: After update to 6.4.2.2: Split database only
accessible while running in Safe Mode
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.2.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Base
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: j.tdhgf...@nurfuerspam.de

Description:
I updated LO from 6.0.7 to 6.4.2.2. Now I get an error when trying to open a
form in a split database: “Error in script file line: 1 Unexpected token
UNIQUE, requires COLLATION in statement [SET DATABASE UNIQUE]“

When running in Safe Mode, I can access the database. But even when using a
new, clean profile, I can't access the database!

When starting LO with
LC_ALL=C libreoffice

I can open a form within the database but then an error like
“The data could not be loaded. There exists no table named "[Name of my
table]".“ is displayed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update LibreOffice from 6.0.7 to 6.4.2.2 on Ubuntu using
https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/libreoffice-6-4
2. Start LO and open a split database
3. Click on a table or a form

Actual Results:
Seeing following error message (when using German localization as normally)
“Error in script file line: 1 Unexpected token UNIQUE, requires COLLATION in
statement [SET DATABASE UNIQUE]“

When starting LO with
LC_ALL=C libreoffice

I can open a form within the database but then an error message like
“The data could not be loaded. There exists no table named "[Name of my
table]".“ is displayed.

So the database is not usable at all.

Expected Results:
The split database should be accessible.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132008] New: Provide "New window" action in the "GroupedBar compact" toolbar UI mode

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132008

Bug ID: 132008
Summary: Provide "New window" action in the "GroupedBar
compact" toolbar UI mode
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.3.5.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

The "New window" action/button is available in the standard toolbar mode
(through the "Window" menu) and the "Tabbed" and "Tabbed compact" toolbar modes
(in the "View" tab)... just not in the "GroupedBar compact" UI mode.

This feature is extremely useful to me to be able to edit multiple sheets at
once in a spreadsheet, or multiple chapters within a monolithic text document,
on multiple screens. Unfortunately, it cannot be used when the toolbar mode is
"GroupedBar compact", which happens to be my favorite UI mode...

What about using a 64 bit driver with LO 64 bits?
If there's no 64 bits driver, only 32 bits, it's expected to require LO 32
bits.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132007] New: Improve the password-protected document unlock prompt dialog's text strings and layout

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132007

Bug ID: 132007
Summary: Improve the password-protected document unlock prompt
dialog's text strings and layout
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: trivial
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com

Description:
When you open a password-protected document, you are presented with a simple
GtkDialog window that has "Enter password" as the window title and this
following layout:

Enter password to open file:
file:///home/bob/path/to/the/file.ods
[ ***]
( Help ) ( Cancel ) ( OK )

The "file:///full_path_blahblah" part bugs me, because it eats 90% of the space
and makes it harder to see the actual file name. The path is also irrelevant to
me because I _just_ requested to open the file, which either means I tried
opening it from my file browser application (and therefore know the path) or
that I tried opening it with LibreOffice's file open dialog (ditto) or that I
tried opening it from the "Recent Files" quick menu (in which case I clearly
don't care about the file's path, since I couldn't even be bothered to use a
file manager to dig it up).

So I would suggest that the string becomes:

'The file "%s" is password-protected. Enter the password to open it:'

Where %s is the human-readable file name. It could be without the extension
(ex: "TPS report") or with the extension (ex: "TPS report.ods") if
you're worried about non-technical users needing to be able to cite the file
extension along with the filename.

The "OK" button in that GtkDialog should also be "insensitive" until something
has been entered in the password field.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 129062] [META] Skia library bugs

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129062

For maintaining a blacklist of GPU and Vulkan driver pairings, will need the
Vulkan reported 'deviceID', 'vendorID' and 'driverVersion' -- these will not be
the same as the os reported GPU and Driver details we'd used for OpenGL issues.

At the moment, they are not exposed for review from the LO Skia implementation.

The realtechVR OpenGL Extensions Viewer [1] now provides a reporting module for
Vulkan resources. After a run of rendering testing, clicking the submit button
will generate a set of feature reports, including a "vkview" report that has
the GPU's internal Vulkan details. Those will be needed when reporting issues
for potential Blacklisting.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132005] New: Calc extension fails in LibreOffice (works in Apache OpenOffice)

2020-04-09 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132005

Bug ID: 132005
Summary: Calc extension fails in LibreOffice (works in Apache
OpenOffice)
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Extensions
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: dkg...@gmail.com

Created attachment 159451
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=159451=edit
Calc extension that does not work in LibreOffice

I have a Calc extension that contains a simple StarBasic macro. The purpose is
to export an opened spreadsheet file to a tab-separated text file in UTF-8 with
no text delimiter and assign a name to the exported TSV file equal to the name
of the original file except for the name extension (if the name extension is a
common spreadsheet file name extension such as .ods/.xls/.xlsx, it is replaced
with .txt, otherwise .txt is added to the file name).

When installed, the Calc extension creates (in Calc only) a custom toolbar with
one button and a custom item under the File menu (namely, “Export to OmegaT
Glossary”).

The Calc extension installs and operates as described above in Apache
OpenOffice 4.2.0 (for the sake of clarity: it is a development build from
2016), but not in LibreOffice, including LO 6.4.2 (tested also with earlier
6.4.0, 6.3.4 and other versions, mainly under Windows 7). An attempt to install
produces an error message that I cannot interpret (see below). At
ask.libreoffice.org, I have been advised to report the issue here, which I do.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download the attached extension file.
2. Try to install it. An error message should appear as follows:
(com.sun.star.deployment.DeploymentException) { { Message = "An error occurred
while enabling: ExportToGlossary", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface)
©50038c8 }, Cause = (any) { (com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException) { { {
Message = "", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 }}, ArgumentPosition =
(short) 0 }}}
3. Close LibreOffice, restart.
4. Open the Extension Manager.
5. The Calc extension appears in the list, but inactive.
6. Click on Enable. An error message should appear as follows:
(com.sun.star.lang.IllegalArgumentException) { { { Message = "", Context =
(com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0 }}, ArgumentPosition = (short) 0 )

Afterwards, the extension does not become active, however, can be uninstalled.

basically the smoothness of image margins is pretty the same as in MS Word
except for the "curly" effect on the ice-skating image.

the main problems are position and overlap of the 4 images
