In the case of Greek characters, in LyX you first press Alt-M to enter "math mode," then G to enter "Greek mode" and then a character (a for alpha, b for beta, etc.). I think that that kind of "sequential shortcuts" are not possible in LibreOffice, but a simplified version of them, or something else, could be really useful. Basically, user can't enter any text starting with or containing - or + and move to the next cell. I never stated that this is related to auto correction. I only stated that disabling the ability of entering such text without allowing the user to enable it is a bug. As an example, imagine that there is no option to disable auto correction and that every time user enters "WMvare" the editor changes the spelling to "Wmvare", which is incorrect. When the editor forces an incorrect behavior a feature becomes a bug. In this case it's very similar. User can't enter "-" and move to next cell without triggering the formula entering mode. Note, that there is no other way of moving across cells in Calc than using keyboard. Think about disability and UX issues when users try to use Calc without a mouse. A somehow helpful feature that is always forced and can't be disabled becomes a bug. This issue is present not only when entering '-' or '+' but also when entering '--', '- ', '--- ', '===-+_-', '-- a --' ... basically even when the formula is invalid. The simplest resolution would probably be to disable this for cells formatted as text. A proper solution would be to add a position in the menu to disable "formula mode" or how it's called, similarly to auto correct. There is also plenty of space in LibreOffice Calc - Formula tab in Options. Sorry for this long explanation. I appreciate your work on the software. I just don't see how some custom behavior triggered by a specific combination of characters that can't be disabled is not a bug. The password on the document is "password" (no quotes). The behaviour happens on Google Drive and on my Desktop as well. If I remove the password in 6.4.5 it seems to work fine in 7.0.0.1. However if I try to save the file with password in 7.0.0.1 (or earlier) I get a "General I/O Error" and the save fails. This file is an ongoing journal (I redacted it for you). It works fine in LO 6.4.5 and earlier (I've been using this file since 2017). In all versions of LO 7.0.0 I can load the file, but it goes into an endless autosave loop. When I try to save manually I get a General IO Error. If I remove the password in LO 6.4.x and open in any version of LO 7.0.0 then the file works fine. The problem seems to be when I add the password. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a file with approximately 263,000 words (about 1.7M). 2. Save it with a password. 3. Open it in LO 7.0.0.x. 4. Wait for autosave to commence. Actual Results: Autosave goes into an endless loop, saving over and over. LO is listed as "Not Responding" in "Force Quit" dialog. Expected Results: Autosave should only commence at normal intervals. Am I correct that all the commands in question are menu item, not buttons? In
this case I see 4 possible solutions:
1) Move them into a sub menu, like they are in the main menu bar.
2) Menus attached to toolbar/notebookbar buttons use PopupLabel instead of
ContextLabel/Label. Given that these commands never appear in context menus, I
think we can use PopupLabel here for the NB needs.
3) Create aliases for these commands, as in Bug 115965 comment 16.
4) As a last resort, labels can be defined directly in the NB .ui files. ("last
resort" because the same menu can appear in several NB files, so it will add
more work for translators.)

Adding a dedicated property for the toolbar/NB was one of the ideas in Bug
108458. The problem is that the current UI labels storage and its fallback
mechanism are too complex already. Adding more properties is possible if
needed, but ideally this should be done as part of an overall thinking on how
all that stuff should work altogether. (Also note that new properties become
part of the configuration schema, for which we prefer to not make incompatible
changes. So once a property is introduced, it might not be that easy to remove
it.)

To implement the same style import as Word, the style definitions need to be stored twice: once as read from the file, and another time with attributes defaulted and deduplicated vs. the parent style; the second representation is then sent to the domain mapper. To make this easier, add a bool parameter to cloneAndDeduplicate() to disable the implicit pPr dereferencing that happens when creating the hard formatted paragraph properties (this could potentially be cleaned up further if those paragraph properties would use pPr wrapper themselves).
