[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134403] EDITING Writer sections: Options => Columns tab does not recognize Indents changes
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134403 --- Comment #6 from John Kaufmann --- (In reply to Dieter from comment #4) > Just for clarification: Is your idea > a) Section option should be an option to set section width directly (and not > indirectly with indent) > b) Change of indent should also cause direct and visible change in column > width in column tab of options dialog More (b) than (a). Setting width directly would still require a second "offset" setting to accomplish what Left- and Right-indents accomplish. But however this is done, column widths should reflect any change in total indents or margins. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I ran into problems with promoting/demoting folded chapters, and cases that add content to folded outline content. Making outline mode a read-only feature avoids these problems. Shown in the demo is use of the .uno:OutlineMode command function in toolbar button form. It can be added to any toolbar or menu and can be assigned a keyboard shortcut. Folded outline content is shown when either edit mode is activated or outline mode is toggled off. Returning to outline mode will fold the outline content previously folded. I have only had success on how to export/save the attribute used to indicate folded outline content state. WIP on importing. This means no persistence of outlines folded when document is closed and reopened. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134997] New: Trying to save a Base file crashes LibreOffice
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134997 Bug ID: 134997 Summary: Trying to save a Base file crashes LibreOffice Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.6.2 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: li...@drmartinus.de Description: I had a few (~5) documents open, the last action I took was saving a writer document as pdf. Shortly before that, a few minor changes had been made to a report in the base file, which I saved right away. However, in the Base window it still showed the "unsaved" symbol, as usual. Then I left and returned after 2 hours and found that LibreOffice was hanging, the windows weren't restored. I waited several minutes, then tried to close any of the windows, and got each time the message: LibreOffice does not reply. So I ended it. After restart (after all files had been recovered), I closed the files which seemed fine to me. However, saving the Base module which still showed the unsaved state caused LibreOffice to crash and immediately to reopen with the recovery window. I still can open reports and databases within the database. I tried saving the database under a different name. One of these attempts resulted in a 0 byte document, the other in a 1.9 kB file. Finally I managed to recover without grace by hitting the "close window" button and then on the file save dialog hitting "don't save". After that, it behaved normally again. Steps to Reproduce: 1. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134820] Crash after undo with experimental features enabled
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134820 --- Comment #5 from Terrence Enger --- The code leading up to svx/source/sidebar/inspector/InspectorTextPanel.cxx line 63 reads 61: void InspectorTextPanel::updateEntries(const std::vector& rStore) 62: { 63: mpListBoxStyles->freeze(); This function is frame #14 in the previously attached backtrace. In the second call to this function, mpListBoxStyles = std::unique_ptr = {get() = 0x} and the call to freeze() results in an immediate segfault. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 107946] Document Scales Up
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=107946 --- Comment #8 from Telesto --- (In reply to Justin L from comment #7) > *** Bug 134954 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Auto of curiosity. The formula frame has the wrong dimensions, and it's solved by entering. Not sure what the scope/exten of the issue is. So if a fix being useful or not. Related to the formula case: Is there a way to detect if it's a formula frame, emulate the access in the background while processing. [Not sure how expensive that would be]. With maybe a limited 'scope' to that for certain dimensions [which ends up in guessing what problematic formula's would look like] There is surely one file with 390 pages and 2000 formula's around.. And manually checking for flaws isn't something you want to do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134994] New: Possibility to change the size of the page via GUI
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134994 Bug ID: 134994 Summary: Possibility to change the size of the page via GUI Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.1 rc Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: wza...@gmail.com I often use the LibreOffice Draw to prepare figures and diagrams which are later included in other documents (e.g., prepared with LaTeX). That requires adjusting the size of the page to the size of the drawing. Now it must be done iteratively, which is very inconvenient. Looking at the rulers I have to estimate the desired page size. Then I have enter the Format/Properties dialog box, enter the new "User" size of the page, close the dialog, check if the new size is correct (usually it is not), modify the size again in the dialog box... Typically the above must be repeated 3 or 4 times. Other drawing tools, like Inkscape have a special option "Resize page to content". A similar tool would be also very useful in LibreOffice Draw. In case if its implementation is too difficult, it would be nice at least to be able to adjust the size of the page be dragging its edges, or corners in GUI (maybe after entering the special "resize page" mode).
