https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135482 Bug ID: 135482 Summary: EDITING: Data validity fails after copying sheet and deleting original sheet Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.3.6.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rmkelly...@gmail.com Description: After defining a "cell range" data validity in a sheet and then copying that sheet, the data validity is RIGHT in the new sheet. If you then delete the original sheet, the data validity is WRONG in the new sheet. Instead of containing valid entries, the selection list contains only "#REF!". Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load the attached spreadsheet. 2. On Sheet2, observe that D1’s selection list works correctly. 3. Delete Sheet1. 4. On Sheet2, observe that D1’s selection list now works incorrectly. Actual Results: After deleting Sheet1, Sheet2.D1's selection list contains only "#REF!". Expected Results: After deleting Sheet1, Sheet2.D1's selection list should still contain "aaa", "bbb", and "ccc". Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: >From "Help / About LibreOffice": Version: 6.3.6.2 (x64) Build ID: 2196df99b074d8a661f4036fca8fa0cbfa33a497 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135287] The Time Control no longer supports 12-hour times through TimeFormat
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135287 atem...@rogers.com changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from atem...@rogers.com --- I installed the latest version of Libre, 7.0.0, and the bug does not appear using it. But I still have the problem with 6.2.5.2. So is it an actual bug that exits in previous versions? Or is it a problem with my installation. (I have Libre on two machines, a Win8 and a Win10, so it seems unlikely to be an installation problem affecting two machines with two versions of Windows.) Can anyone with version 6.2 to 6.4 test this out for me? After all, if I decide to release my Template to the public, I'll have to deal with this situation if it is indeed a real bug. Also, as I had Libre 7.0 installed, I tested the previous bug I found, bug #130888 --- Basic is Faulty in creating / deleting User Defined Properties. I find that this bug still exists in Libre 7.0. In the attached example file, I also mentioned another problem that I was having and I described it as: On a dialog I have a couple of options and a listbox. But I don't want the listbox to be shown unless a particular option is selected. I have the typical code that is called when the option is selected and the code then makes the listbox visible. For the other options, the listbox is made invisible. But here is the strange thing: I cannot declare the listbox as not visible from the start. If I do that, my BASIC code simply cannot make it visible – it remains invisible permanently. So to get around this, I have to first declare the listbox as visible, then make in invisible before I Execute() the dialog. Only then can my BASIC Code actually toggle it between visible and invisible. This problem does not appear in Libre 7.0. But it does appear to be a bug in versions before 7.0. Should I create another example file of this problem and post another new bug report for it? I have a workaround for it, but I need to know whether it's a true bug for earlier versions of Libre. Finally, I found a new bug in Libre today, one that affects 7.0 too. I'll try to post it tomorrow. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135465 Regina Henschel changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |NOTABUG Status|NEEDINFO|RESOLVED --- Comment #3 from Regina Henschel --- Each object has "direct formatting", which affects only this object, and it has a "style" assigned. Direct formatting of a property has precedence over the settings in a style for that property. A style is usually assigned to many objects. That allows to simultaneously change a property in many objects. When you use Select Format/Style/Edit Style then you change the style. And then it is the correct behavior, that all objects, which have this style assigned, will change. If you want a property setting only for one special object, you have to use direct formatting. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135249] If cell is formatted as time or duration, then allow inputs with parts greater than 59
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135249 --- Comment #4 from Eike Rathke --- (In reply to gabrielhml from comment #3) > It is also possible that the person writes 1:1:40 but does not mean time Which can always be prefixed with an ' apostrophe to force text. > but more than that, it would be nice if as a general rule Calc would try to > conform to the format of the cell. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135441] LibreOffice needs settable charset/encoding defaults
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135441 --- Comment #3 from 伟思礼 --- ALL files created or edited by me are UTF-8 without BOM. That is the default for my editor. My locale is en_US.UTF-8 What I do frequently, is create a temporary text file with new words/phrases I want to learn in another language. I then copy them and paste into a spreadsheet which contains ALL the stuff I am learning. Finally, I export that spreadsheet to overwrite a (non-temporary) tab-delimited file which I can then import into Anki (https://apps.ankiweb.net). The file command confirms that both of those files are UTF-8. But the import dialog that comes up when I paste ALWAYS says UTF-16. Sometimes I forget to change it. I do not know whether that is the cause of my Anki problems, but I have noticed that occasionally, there is a BOM in the permanent file, right before a recently pasted data item (not at the beginning of file). And sometimes there is a zero-width non-printing character in the file. Whenever either of these spurious characters has appeared, they are always on an item that Anki is having trouble with. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 135249] If cell is formatted as time or duration, then allow inputs with parts greater than 59
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135249 --- Comment #3 from gabriel...@hotmail.com --- This is tricky It is also possible that the person writes 1:1:40 but does not mean time I agree with the suggestion that if the first particles are 0: or 00: then it should be understood as time, but more than that, it would be nice if as a general rule Calc would try to conform to the format of the cell. This would apply to other cases too. For example, when I have a date cell, if I input "1/5" it identifies a date. But if I input "1/2" it identifies as simply a "half". But the fact that I am writing "1/2" on a cell that was formated as a date should tell Calc that I actually mean a date. (maybe we could open a suggestion for this as well) In this case, if the cell is formatted as time, then it should override whatever other function and try to treat the cell as time. Calc doesn't have to try to decipher what the user is trying to input if the user has already stated what he is trying to input on the cell's formatting. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=135249 --- Comment #2 from Eike Rathke --- There were earlier complaints that non-time sequences like 1:123 or 1:1:123 were accepted as times, so mileages may differ between users.. Not everything resembling a time should be an automatically valid time input, however, it might be a valid input if the first particles are 0: or 0:0: (or 00: or 0:00: or 00:00: for that matter) for those "number of minutes" or "number of seconds" inputs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 134583] FILEOPEN: Glow effect paints the document yellow
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134583 --- Comment #7 from Mike Kaganski --- I don't see how a gallery element created using a pre-aplha LibreOffice with unfinished feature implementation, where author obviously played with the feature, may be considered a regression. I don't know how galleries are generated in LO. The "Vertical-Scroll" element in question has this: I can't find this grepping the code for "loext:glow", so likely we use some blobs? So they need fixed (and in the future, not use unstable builds to generate the data to be included in releases). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 130863] AUTO-REDACT: Disable 'Case Sensitive' checkbox + 'Whole word' checkbox when the 'Regular expression' option is selected
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=130863 --- Comment #26 from Eike Rathke --- @Julien: if the checkbox is disabled the test can't set it to case sensitive so the test fails. However, IMHO disabling the checkbox in the general F dialog is unfortunate, if not wrong. Not many know the regex (?-i) flag (or other flags for that matter) and matching case sensitive regex is unnecessarily complicated this way. Someone knowing and using the flag can easily figure out what the meaning of the checkbox is and that the default is case insensitive (checkbox unchecked). If flags are set in the regex itself then the flags override the global setting anyway. Furthermore, for the same reason I consider the already applied changes (disabling checkbox in redact dialog and keeping the default case sensitive) to be wrong. The logic should be the same as in the F dialog, default case insensitive and the global flag actually be set accordingly. I suggest to not do that follow-up change and correct the previous changes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
