https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136421 Bug ID: 136421 Summary: switch LibO layout and back delete user specific settings Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: kain...@gmail.com the user can show/hide statusbar, sidebar, different toolbars and all this changes will be saved at the user profile. But if you switch the Layout (View -> User Interface -> ) from Standard to Sidebar and back the settings from Standard interface will be deleted. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 88931] TOOLBAR: Easy access to hide and unhide all toolbars and sidebar
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88931 andreas_k changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kain...@gmail.com --- Comment #8 from andreas_k --- The "easies way" would be to define a new layout where sidebar, statusbar, rulers, toolbars, ... are deactivated. Layouts can hide all toolbars and hide the sidebar. The "problem" is that if you switch layout the user specific layout settings wasn't saved. So for example if you define in the "do not disturbe mode" hide statusbar, rulers, ... and the user change back to standard layout and back to "do not disturbe mode" the "do not disturbe mode" specific settings (hide statusbar, rulers, ...) were not saved. Same in standard layout, you lost the user specific settings. I'm sure there is a bug report for this. But if the user specific layout settings saved bug will be fixed, it would be easy and cool to add an "do not disturbe layout". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136348] Too many ways of setting page styles (to portrait)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136348 --- Comment #5 from Justin L --- The key to understanding is to focus on the content. The blue bar is a "force a page break right now" based on my content, regardless of how full the page is. So the blue bar itself has nothing to do with page styles necessarily. The "right now" needs to be tied to something - and that something is a paragraph. (And it logically makes sense to allow a different page style to be defined on the command that starts a new page, so thus you can also define a page style change with this.) First/follow is used when you don't have a "right now" point where the page needs to change. You just want it to change whenever this first page is full - regardless of the content. In the end, this isn't something driven by developer logic, but simply document layout logic. With only two page-change mechanisms, it isn't terribly confusing. Although I will admit (since I also experience it) that until you grasp this it is terribly confusing when you try to mix and match the two. 1.) set Landscape page style to use default style as next. 2.) create a four page document (all using the default page style). 3.) put your cursor somewhere in page 3 and then double-click on Landscape page style Result? Page one becomes Landscape, and pages 2-4 are Default style (portrait). Ultimately, that DOES make sense because there are no hard page breaks defined, so page style changes apply to a "section" and not to a cursor point. If you really want to have Landscape start on page 3, you need to first need to make a hard-page-break (Ctrl-break) to indicate where page 3 must start (defining content flow), and then apply a style to it. So I think it really helps if you look at this as a two-piece problem. First is where do I want my pages to start (ctrl-break) and then what should the page look like. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136418] New: PDF: Labels display borders when arrow connector present
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136418 Bug ID: 136418 Summary: PDF: Labels display borders when arrow connector present Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.0.3 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Draw Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: mangod...@protonmail.com Description: When I export to PDF a drawing with a label control that has seemingly any background color other than default and any connector that ends in an arrow, the label will have a border the same color of the connector even though the label has "without frame" selected as its border. Any connector without an arrow does not do this. Deleting the connector removes the border from the label when exported to PDF. All labels (with backgrounds) in the same document exhibit this behavior. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Open a new document in LibreOffice Draw 2) Insert a Label Form Control 3) Right click on the label, and then click on "Control Properties..." 4) Scroll down and select any background color other than "Default" 5) Ensure the Border is set to "Without frame" 6) Insert a "Connector Ends with Arrow" 7) Export to PDF Actual Results: Open the PDF to find that the drawing is the same as seen in LibreOffice Draw, except there is a border around the label. Expected Results: The label in the PDF should show no border. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I checked every connector, and a few background colors. As mentioned, only the connectors with arrows caused this problem. Every background color I checked had the same result. I opened the PDFs on Mac with Preview, PDF Professional, and Firefox. I opened the PDFs with SumatraPDF, and Firefox on Windows. PDFs created on either machine showed the same problem when opened with any of the PDF readers. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 55960] Filling cells with incremental numbers – wrong numbers
