Did you set it up manually or was it auto-discovered and the queue auto-created, e.g. using cups-browsed? 2) What is the output of 'lpstat -v' on the client? 3) What CUPS version do you have (on client and server)? 4) Do you get any entries in CUPS log if you set log level to "Debug" in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, then restart CUPS and try again? (CUPS log file is usually /var/log/cups/error.log, unless configured elsewhere or CUPS is configured to log to journal instead; you can check e.g. whether directive 'ErrorLog /var/log/cups/error_log' is present in /etc/cup/cups-files.conf.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86321] EDITING, FORMATTING: diagram didn't automatic update when change variable (recalculation not triggered)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86321 --- Comment #47 from Lars Jødal --- Importance: I agree that trustworthy updating of plots is important, especially if you work with many plots. A few years ago, I used LO for my Ph.D. project, and it was huge problem to me that plots very often did not update - I did not know which plots I could trust, and there were a lot of them, so a workaround of moving all plot a few pixels each was very unattractive. (But yes, I kept using LO, and I am still a user.) Pinning it down: Like matthewnote writes, it is not an issue that is easy to pin down. I have mostly experienced it with many plots, something many users are not going to do. Status of the bug? I just tested matthewnote's sample file, attachment 165696, using LO 7.0.1.2 on Win10. Interestingly, the plot does seem to update immediately (well, within a second), while I can confirm that the Y axis seem to prefer to start from 0 when autoscaling. However, matthewnote includes 7.0.1.2 among the tested versions that still has the bug. Can others reproduce the non-updata part of the bug with the 7.0.x line of LO? See description in comment 46. (If one day only the autoscaling problem is left, it is probably better to open a new bug about that problem, which should be much more simple to describe.) NOTE: The existing popup menu entry "Edit Section…" allows me to figure out the file to edit by scrolling to the end of the "File name" field, closing the dialog, and making the requisite selection change manually, but this is somewhat less than intuitive, not to mention a bit cumbersome. I had assumed it was from accidentally typing two Ctrl-Vs to paste. Today though I had four copies of the cut text appear and I'm quite sure it was from a single paste. Please see the attached document in which I reproduced the bug and also recorded the steps to follow. It occurs with Record Changes and Show Changes both turned on. 1) have a block of inserted text you've typed, around some older text (that's not a section of inserted or deleted text), 2) delete some of the older text 3) type some more text into the new section that follows the older text 4) Cut the last text just typed 5) Undo until you have removed all the new text typed after the older text that you deleted (and which was marked as deleted) 6) Undo once more so the older text is no longer deleted, but still selected 7) Paste the Cut text. Result: The cut text appears multiple times (usually two, but on one occasion four copies). Expected result: The cut text appears once. BTW: Using a stock (non native) control when setting a custom background was implemented prior to patch for tdf#125532. This is implemented in a way that fallback to stock control is done independet of support of custom background by native widget set. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 123972] UI menu disappears before submenu can open
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123972 Nick Levinson changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #17 from Nick Levinson --- I opted for version 7.0.1 (Fresh), because it's the latest classified as stable. I opted for Fresh Portable, specifically LibreOffice-7.0.1.en-GB.help-x86_64.AppImage . Saving did not let me choose the destination directory or to open it without saving. It was saved by default to the Downloads directory but double-clicking it failed to identify an app that would open it. I went to /usr but, acting as nonroot, couldn't create a new directory (to prevent confusion with anything else that might get written into /usr). Since I shouldn't need root access for the purpose and running as root is a security risk, I chose to copy the file into /Home/Desktop (I guess that's in my account directory). Using Properties, I set it to executable. I double-clicked it and it opened, showing me the LO desktop, which had a new design compared to the LO version I usually use. The new one is still called soffice, which I guess dates from StarOffice days. So I went back, per your instructions, to the CLI and ran SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen . I've now run the new LO from the AppImage two ways: Without SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen , the problem remains. I should emphasize a point that may explain why people above could not reproduce the problem. With alt-f or alt-o, even if you release the letter quickly, the menu behaves correctly unless you also release alt quickly after the letter, and speed typists are likely to release both quickly. Quick release of both (in the right order) causes the menu to open and close too quickly for use. You can't select a command. (Quickly releasing in the wrong order is a trivial case. The menu might not open at all, and that's as expected.) But with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen , the problem is absent. The menus look different and they behave correctly even with quick release of both keys. Conclusion so far: without the environment variable and value (SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen), quickly releasing both keys causes the misbehavior. With the variable and value, the behavior is right. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I have had the problem for several months and assumed it was my printer. I solved it by copying the text file into an ascii editor like Featherpad or Notepad and printing from that software. I do not print much and thought if Brother modified their software it would be solved if I reinstalled a newer version, but I recently re-installed a newer version and it just prints jibberish and there are only a few alpha numeric characters.
