tdf#122648 DOCX import: fix table formula in all tables

Table formula import worked only in the first table,
because of using bad fallback table for cell references
without table names during formula conversion to internal
formula.

Set table of the text field as the correct fallback table.

Follow-up of commit 68e74bdf63e992666016c790e8e4cfd5b28d6abe
(tdf133647 tdf123386 tdf123389 Improved .docx table formula import).

Some questions:

1) How was the printer set up on the client? Did you set it up manually or was
it auto-discovered and the queue auto-created, e.g. using cups-browsed?

2) What is the output of 'lpstat -v' on the client?

3) What CUPS version do you have (on client and server)?

4) Do you get any entries in CUPS log if you set log level to "Debug" in
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf, then restart CUPS and try again? (CUPS log file is
usually /var/log/cups/error.log, unless configured elsewhere or CUPS is
configured to log to journal instead; you can check e.g. whether directive
'ErrorLog /var/log/cups/error_log' is present in /etc/cup/cups-files.conf.)

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86321] EDITING, FORMATTING: diagram didn't automatic update when change variable (recalculation not triggered)

2020-09-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86321

Importance: I agree that trustworthy updating of plots is important, especially
if you work with many plots. A few years ago, I used LO for my Ph.D. project,
and it was huge problem to me that plots very often did not update - I did not
know which plots I could trust, and there were a lot of them, so a workaround
of moving all plot a few pixels each was very unattractive. (But yes, I kept
using LO, and I am still a user.)

Pinning it down: Like matthewnote writes, it is not an issue that is easy to
pin down. I have mostly experienced it with many plots, something many users
are not going to do.

Status of the bug? I just tested matthewnote's sample file, attachment 165696,
using LO 7.0.1.2 on Win10. Interestingly, the plot does seem to update
immediately (well, within a second), while I can confirm that the Y axis seem
to prefer to start from 0 when autoscaling. However, matthewnote includes
7.0.1.2 among the tested versions that still has the bug. Can others reproduce
the non-updata part of the bug with the 7.0.x line of LO? See description in
comment 46.

(If one day only the autoscaling problem is left, it is probably better to open
a new bug about that problem, which should be much more simple to describe.)

Ok, that is interesting. You could also test with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=kf5 to get

Dear Shauns,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136908] New: Select current subdocument in navigator

2020-09-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136908

Bug ID: 136908
Summary: Select current subdocument in navigator
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: udo.schuerm...@gmail.com

The selection in the navigator for a master document should reflect the portion
of the master document in which the cursor is located, allowing me to determine
the actual file to be edited to make changes.

NOTE: The existing popup menu entry "Edit Section…" allows me to figure out the
file to edit by scrolling to the end of the "File name" field, closing the
dialog, and making the requisite selection change manually, but this is
somewhat less than intuitive, not to mention a bit cumbersome.

The requested feature would be much the same as in Eclipse, where the option
"Link with Editor" causes a selection change in the package explorer whenever a
change occurs in the file tabs.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136907] New: Cut text can be doubled or more by a single paste

2020-09-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136907

Bug ID: 136907
Summary: Cut text can be doubled or more by a single paste
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.4.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Writer
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: luke.kend...@gmail.com

Created attachment 165702
  --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=165702=edit
Example document demonstrating the bug

A few times recently I noticed a paste producing multiple copies of the text
I'd pasted. I had assumed it was from accidentally typing two Ctrl-Vs to paste.
Today though I had four copies of the cut text appear and I'm quite sure it was
from a single paste.
Please see the attached document in which I reproduced the bug and also
recorded the steps to follow.
It occurs with Record Changes and Show Changes both turned on.
1) have a block of inserted text you've typed, around some older text (that's
not a section of inserted or deleted text),
2) delete some of the older text
3) type some more text into the new section that follows the older text
4) Cut the last text just typed
5) Undo until you have removed all the new text typed after the older text that
you deleted (and which was marked as deleted)
6) Undo once more so the older text is no longer deleted, but still selected
7) Paste the Cut text.
Result:
The cut text appears multiple times (usually two, but on one occasion four
copies).
Expected result:
The cut text appears once.

Please see attached example document.

Commited a patch to gerrit to prevent ignoring of button text label color when
no custom background is set:

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/103079

As I am only able to test on macOS currently, testing is required with QT, GTK
and on Windows.

BTW: Using a stock (non native) control when setting a custom background was
implemented prior to patch for tdf#125532. This is implemented in a way that
fallback to stock control is done independet of support of custom background by
native widget set. The patch committed does not change this behaviour.

Nick Levinson changed:

 Ever confirmed|1 |0
 Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED

I opted for version 7.0.1 (Fresh), because it's the latest classified as
stable. I opted for Fresh Portable, specifically
LibreOffice-7.0.1.en-GB.help-x86_64.AppImage . Saving did not let me choose the
destination directory or to open it without saving. It was saved by default to
the Downloads directory but double-clicking it failed to identify an app that
would open it. I went to /usr but, acting as nonroot, couldn't create a new
directory (to prevent confusion with anything else that might get written into
/usr). Since I shouldn't need root access for the purpose and running as root
is a security risk, I chose to copy the file into /Home/Desktop (I guess that's
in my account directory). Using Properties, I set it to executable. I
double-clicked it and it opened, showing me the LO desktop, which had a new
design compared to the LO version I usually use. The new one is still called
soffice, which I guess dates from StarOffice days. So I went back, per your
instructions, to the CLI and ran SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen .

I've now run the new LO from the AppImage two ways:

Without SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen , the problem remains. I should emphasize a point
that may explain why people above could not reproduce the problem. With alt-f
or alt-o, even if you release the letter quickly, the menu behaves correctly
unless you also release alt quickly after the letter, and speed typists are
likely to release both quickly. Quick release of both (in the right order)
causes the menu to open and close too quickly for use. You can't select a
command.

(Quickly releasing in the wrong order is a trivial case. The menu might not
open at all, and that's as expected.)

But with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen , the problem is absent. The menus look
different and they behave correctly even with quick release of both keys.

Conclusion so far: without the environment variable and value
(SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen), quickly releasing both keys causes the misbehavior.
With the variable and value, the behavior is right.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 136902] New: printing garbage from Libreoffice writer on Brother printer

2020-09-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136902

Bug ID: 136902
Summary: printing garbage from Libreoffice writer on Brother
printer
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 6.4.5.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Printing and PDF export
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: realtime...@gmail.com

Possible problem printing LibreOffice textfiles using my Brother MFC-L2710DW.
I have had the problem for several months and assumed it was my printer. I
solved it by copying the text file into an ascii editor like Featherpad or
Notepad and printing from that software. I do not print much and thought if
Brother modified their software it would be solved if I reinstalled a newer
version, but I recently re-installed a newer version and it just prints
jibberish and there are only a few alpha numeric characters. It will print PDF
files also. It would be nice if I could print to a file, which used to exist.
After I re-installed Libreoffice that option does exist.

I re-installed the Libreoffice suite and the printing problem still exists.

Version: 6.4.5.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.5-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: qt5;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

Cowboy1212, please open LibreOffice, go to Help - About LibreOffice and copy
the technical information from there, the same as you see in the comment 2,
here on this bug page.

That info is very useful in order to help you.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86700] Add more Number Formats

2020-09-20 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86700

OR... we can start from a number format we choose (how many decimals, and so
on) and after that expresion we could just add "Kilometres" in the Format code
field.

So easy to do, so I can have cats, dogs and so on... Whatever I want I can have
in my cell.

-

For example:
if I like the format
-1.234,57

in the Format code field I have this:
#.##0,00

It need just to add "cats", meaning to have this
#.##0,00 "cats"

So if I insert 3, I will have:
3,00 cats

Of course I forgot to mention that it is on the Hebrew language and also this
problem is caused due to incompatibility between the movement of the tabs in
the English language and the movement of the tabs in the Hebrew language
