I am having font rendering issues in Writer for some time now. When I scroll-down/up, it breaks the rendering of some lines of text at random. This happens in all Writer documents, but at random. When a line is ill rendered, if I scroll-up until the line is outside my view and then return, then it renders correctly. But later some other line will get the same issue. I also noticed that when I click on a line, the height of text sometimes changes. I attached an ODG file with some screenshots I took demonstrating the issue. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a text file with many pages of text 2.Edit the file for a while 3.At random the rendering issues will appear 4.To make the rendering problem disappear from a certain line, just scroll-up until the line is out of view, and then return Actual Results: Text is ill-rendered, as shown in the attached file Expected Results: Correct rendering of the text Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.0.4.2 Build ID: 00(Build:2) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.8; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 1:7.0.4~rc2-0ubuntu0.20.10.1~lo1 Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 118896] FILEOPEN: RTF wrong font size for Hebrew Text
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118896 --- Comment #10 from Justin L --- In Word 2010, I see everything in Times New Roman font (as stated by OP), but everything is also in size 12 font. So, like other things, they probably change their defaults in different situations. I notice that in Word 2010 - the Normal paragraph style has size 11 for both Latin and CTL. In Writer, both of these are set to 12. There is no style definition section in the RTF, so styles will just be LO defaults. So there may be a "bug" here that LO doesn't use the right defaults in the case where there is no {\stylesheet. \f2 - the font being applied to the CTL scripts, is defined as \fRoman, so that suggests that it should not be applied to \fbidi scripts. But even if I change it to \fbidi, that didn't fix it. That's because it isn't implemented yet, and all font changes are considered _ascii case RTF_FNIL: case RTF_FROMAN: case RTF_FSWISS: case RTF_FMODERN: case RTF_FSCRIPT: case RTF_FDECOR: case RTF_FTECH: case RTF_FBIDI: // TODO ooxml:CT_Font_family seems to be ignored by the domain mapper -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139835 Bug ID: 139835 Summary: FILESAVE: Cross-reference to footnote number disappears upon reopening when saving to DOCX Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.0.4.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: bastien.dum...@posteo.net Created attachment 169090 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=169090=edit Unmodified file created by LibreOffice This bug is also present in 6.4.7. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new file with a footnote. 2. Add a cross-reference to the footnote: first its page number, then the footnote's number. 3. Save to DOCX. 4. Close and reopen. Result: The reference to the footnote's number disappeared. I investigated a little the DOCX archive. Here is the culprit in word/document.xml: There is no in any file in the archive and both bookmarks have the same name. I suppose that we should have something like this instead: where the bookmark elements with w:id="0" would be placed in word/footnotes.xml (at least it is what I observed in a document produced by Word 2010). Additionally, the footnote reference is called by: REF _RefF0 \h We should have (provided that we changed the w:name attribute): NOTEREF fnRef \h These are only hints, and I may be mistaken at some points. I produced a modified version of the file with the fixes mentioned above. When I open it in Word 2010, it complains that it is corrupt, but if I force opening, it basically works. References are here and can be updated correctly if I modify the file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139832 Mike Kaganski changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG --- Comment #2 from Mike Kaganski --- This is not a bug. In your ODS document, you have regular expressions enabled in formulas [1]. As VLOOKUP documentation tells [2]: > The search supports wildcards or regular expressions. > ... > You can switch the automatic evaluation of wildcards or regular expression > on and off in Tools - Options - LibreOffice Calc - Calculate. Brackets have special meaning in regular expressions [3]. So with regular expressions enabled, search for string "Детские продукты (Акушерство)" actually tries to find text "Детские продукты Акушерство", and would make "Акушерство" a referenceable entity (not what you obviously expect). Excel (and its formats) do not support regular expressions, thus saving in its formats would disable regular expressions in its files. But with ODS, which supports all modes fully, if you don't need regular expressions, you need to make proper settings. Note that in later versions of LibreOffice, regular expressions are not enabled by default, partially to avoid newbies making this mistake. Closing NOTABUG. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139398 --- Comment #4 from simons...@belgacom.net --- @heiko.tietze, the reported issue was that with LibreOff- when using copy (ctrl+c) the copied image included all attributes AND the image had its original format (eg the cropping was not applied. in my humble opinion, the standard expectation when using the copy is that one copies what you see AND nothing more, BECAUSE the user/author of a document/email intentionly removed info that the destination/reader should not see AND even should not be able to recuperate, bij doing some experiments I found that: -A- when copyinng an image across platforms (software. . . ) only the visible info/pat was retained - the remainder is removed. -B- in contrary the copy of image from one MSword doc to another did retain all attributes <-- EVEN this is not intended the better approach is that in the copy-paste nvironment the basis operaton is - remove all modification and only keep the WYS part, if needed one should have at the "copy" command an option to retain the attributes eg in MSword there is a paste-options menu -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 139829] New: User defined function malfunction after opening Calc document
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139829 Bug ID: 139829 Summary: User defined function malfunction after opening Calc document Product: LibreOffice Version: 6.4.7.2 release Hardware: All OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: BASIC Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: yes...@yestok.pl Description: I have written a user function to obtain selected information about a document. Here it is: Function DokInfo(optional info, Optional styl) REM The function returns the document information indicated by the parameter. REM the "info" argument must be the text: REM "AutorO" - gives the author of the document. REM "Utworzony" - document creation date. REM "Zmodyfikowany" - date of last modification. REM "AutorM" - author of the last modification. REM "Ile" - Number of sessions with the document. REM "Czas" - total working time on the document. REM styl, if present, must be one of the acceptable formats REM presentation of date and / or time given as text as in the TEXT () function Dim oData As Object, oDoc As Object If isMissing(info) Or isArray(info) Then DokInfo="Zły argument" : Stop 'Bad argument If IsMissing(styl) Then styl="Standard" oDoc=ThisComponent On Local Error GoTo niemodyfikowany oDoc=oDoc.DocumentProperties info=UCase(info) With oDoc Select Case info Case "AUTORO"' - gives the author of the document. DokInfo= .Author Case "UTWORZONY" ' - document creation date. oData=.CreationDate GoSub kiedy Case "ZMODYFIKOWANY" ' - date of last modification. oData=.ModificationDate GoSub kiedy Case "AUTORM"' - author of the last modification. DokInfo=.ModifiedBy Case "ILE" ' - Number of sessions with the document. DokInfo=.EditingCycles Case "CZAS" ' - total working time on the document. DokInfo=Format(.EditingDuration/86400,Iif(styl="Standard","[h]:mm:ss",styl)) Case Else DokInfo="Zły argument"'Bad argument End Select End With Exit Function kiedy: With oData DokInfo=Format(DateSerial(.Year,.Month,.Day)+TimeSerial(.hours,.minutes,.seconds),styl) End With Return niemodyfikowany: DokInfo="Dokument nie był modyfikowany" 'The document was not modified End Function If I save the function together with the document in the document container, it works fine. If a function is placed in the "My Macros" container, then after loading the file in which the function was used, it does not determine the correct information. They will appear only after the file is forced to be reloaded, or after the cell with the function is forcibly moved to another place or its contents copied (e.g. to itself). While looking for a solution to the problem, I wrote another simple function. Test function (Optional wrs, Optional kol) If isMissing (wrs) Then wrs = 0 If IsMissing (col) Then col = 0 test = thisComponent.Sheets (0) .GetCellByPosition (kol, wrs) .String End function It turns out that after loading the file, it also does not return any result if it is in the "My Macros" container and document must be reloaded for good results. What could be the reason for this action? Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add the attached function (eg test) to the "Standard" library in the "My Macros" container. 2. Create a Calc document where you will apply this feature. 3. Save the document and close it. 4. Open the document again. Actual Results: The cell containing the function displays no value (function test) or contains false values (function DokInfo). Expected Results: The result of the function should be displayed. It will only appear after reloading the file. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Such an action appears in many colleagues on the LibreOffice forum. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
