but I think the problem is not related to the variable. If I delete the
variable I can see, that a blank space is added in front of the title.

David, do you get the same result?

New clean install of Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa

Upgrade LO to latest fresh.

Assign an account to Thunderbird and test it so it can send email.

Run this code:

sub send_email(filepath as String, eMailAdress as String, yourOrderno as
String)

Dim eSubject as String
Dim eMailer as Object
Dim eMailClient as Object
Dim eMessage as Object
Dim bodytxtstring as string

eMessage.Body=bodytxtstring
eMessage.Attachement=(Array(convertToUrl(filepath)))
eMailer.sendSimpleMailMessage ( eMessage, _

end sub

Result in Thunderbird:

From: z...@gmail.com

To: Please find delivery note attached
To: as pdf.
To: Best Regards ...
Subject: Delivery note your order 254456

The bug seems to still be present in LO7.

Due to the bug we use the following code instead:

shellstring="thunderbird -compose subject=" & eSubject & ",to=" & eMailAdress &
",message=/home/user1/Businessystem/txt/Deliveryconftxt,attachment='" &

Thanks for your report and explanation on what's happening. Can you give
specific steps on how one can reproduce that something behaves in a wrong way
(description of steps to take, expected vs. actual behaviour)?

Hi Baland,

I was able to replicate problem:
4.Pasting into LibreOffice Writer (both 6.4.7 and 7.04) results in the graph
being blank without data (as demonstrated on the video)

in:
Version: 6.4.0.3
Build ID: b0a288ab3d2d4774cb44b62f04d5d28733ac6df8
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

But I was not able to replicate problem:
2.create a graph, which in this particular case, the graph does not detect the
columns header properly

Can you please attach the document you were working on? I attached my example
document.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140419] New: In Tabbed LibreOffice Writer, customization of menus does not take any effect

2021-02-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140419

Bug ID: 140419
Summary: In Tabbed LibreOffice Writer, customization of menus
does not take any effect
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.3.1 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: UI
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: cpum...@gmail.com

Description:
If I try to customize any of the menus in the tabbed interface, no changes
occur. If I choose for certain elements to not be in the menu, I still see
them. Example: Unselecting "Fontwork" option from the Insert Tab menu does not
take any effect, and I still see the button for it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the tabbed UI
2. Click on the Tools button in the menubar
3. Click "Customize"
4. Go to "Notebookbar" tab
5. Select target called "Insert Tab | Insert | Menu Insert"
6. Unselect all items
7. Press "OK"
8. Go to Insert Tab
9. Click on the "Insert" drop down menu on the far most right

Actual Results:
All of the items that I unselected are still present in the Menu Insert

Expected Results:
The items that I unselected should no longer be present in the Menu Insert.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Additional Info:
This applies to all the menu inserts on each tab. No effects will take place.

I opened the attached file and when I press CTRL + END (Keyboard shortcut to
move to the end of the doc), and the cursor is inside the TOC, the cursor moves
to the end of the TOC.
if pressed again, the cursor moves to the end of the doc.

I think this is the expected behavior.

Dear tmacalp,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

Dear Regina Henschel,

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';

Warm Regards,
QA Team

I still have this issue with 7.1.0.3.

Adding Alt Search macro to the toolbar and using the same icon as regular
search. The icon is gone when I restart and the button reverts to text.

Trying to add external icons is even more hopeless. SVG are not recognised and
PNGs appear blank in the dialog and never appear on the toolbar.

Then you probably don't have them, because you have to explicitly activate an
configure them for complex input languages, like Chinese. Probably a simple
package query for

$ dpkg -l "ibus*" "fcitx*"

will return nothing on your system.

BTW: the "text input" video looks the same then the cell selection problem.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140418] New: Sheet-tab drag destination guide triangles repainting broken

2021-02-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140418

Bug ID: 140418
Summary: Sheet-tab drag destination guide triangles repainting
broken
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: eyalr...@gmx.com

Description:
When you drag, without releasing, a sheet-tab in the tab deck at the bottom of
a Calc window, and move it around over the other tabs, guiding triangles |> <|
show up to indicate where the tab will be placed if you release it.

However - when these triangles are re-painted, as you move your mouse - some
pixels remain painted black when they should have been cleared.

A comparison of screenshots will follow.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new LTR document with LTR UI.
2. Add several sheets, to have, say, 5 sheets in total.
3. Select the first (leftmost) sheet-tab, with you mouse - keeping the mouse
button down.
4. Drag the tab slowly to different positions in the tab deck, back-and-forth

Actual Results:
You always see at most one pair of triangles, and no "vestigial" black triangle
pixels from previously-appearing triangle pairs.

Expected Results:
You see pixels from previously-painted triangles where the triangles are no
longer present.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Observed with:

Version: 7.1.0.3 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Note that there are also issues with tab dragging and triangle painting in the
context of RTL UI and/or RTL sheets. This is a different issue, although there
might be some relation.

I can semi-confirm this issue.

First, this happens with an RTL UI (e.g. Hebrew); not with LTR UI.

In my experience, with RTL sheets:

* 'Guidance' triangles for drag destinations are usually not drawn; and
occasionally drawn in an unexpected position, e.g. if I drag the 3rd tab from
the right, two positions to the right (i.e. to the right edge of the sheet-tab
deck) - I see a triangle on the left edge of the leftmost tab.
* Dragging sheet-tabs and releasing them sometimes fails to do anything, in
scenarios in which it did result in a position switch with an LTR UI.
* Dragging a sheet-tab one full position to the right, or more, brings it to
the left of the deck, regardless of its initial position.

In my experience, with LTR sheets (and again, RTL UI):

* 'Guidance' triangles for drag destinations are usually not drawn; if I drag a
tab past the beginning (the left edge) of the tab deck, then a triangle is
drawn on the left side of the last (rightmost) tab.
* Dragging a tab due left and releasing it moves it to the rightmost position,
regardless of its initial position (and the fact I didn't release it to the
right of its initial position).
* Dragging a tab due right and releasing it also places it in the rightmost
position.

In summary - sheet-tab deck dragging is totally messed up w.r.t. RTL and really
needs to be fixed.

Correction to my reproduction instructions: In step (4.), you must ensure _all_
sheets are RTL. Otherwise the whole deck is repeatedly repainted, on the left
then on the right and back again.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 131025] Writer document with tables lost data in cells (apparently) replacing with 0

2021-02-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131025

Sorry for adding noise to bug reports, but I too would like to see this given
critical priority. As noted previously, the data loss is only noticed after the
file is saved, with no means to recover afterwards. For something as commonly
used as a table, this could have disastrous consequences. What if a business
report full of data in a table was being made and suddenly all the data were to
disappear?

As tables are such an integral part of word processing, a lot of users stand to
benefit from fixing this bug. I hate having to ask open source developers much,
but please understand that not being able to correctly use something as
essential as a table in a word processor could potentially lose LibreOffice
many users (especially if, say, an organisation were to be affected by it) and
possibly harm it's reputation.

Thanks,
digg33

Screenshot - while and before dragging the sheet-tab

As mentioned before - ignore the fact that some residual junk-pixels appear on
the sides of most tabs.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140417] New: dragging destination hover-guides messed up, especially for RTL sheet deck

2021-02-14 Thread bugzilla-daemon

Bug ID: 140417
Summary: dragging destination hover-guides messed up,

   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.1.0.3 release
  Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: eyalr...@gmx.com

Description:
When you click-and-hold on a tab in the sheet deck in Calc, and move the sheet
left or right, LO paints small triangles/arrow-heads on both sides of the
boundary between adjacent sheet tabs, where your sheet would be placed if you
release the mouse.

However:

1. If your sheet tab deck is in RTL mode (which happens when the current sheet
is in RTL direction), the triangles are drawn on the two opposite sides of
adjacent sheet tabs. So, in both cases it's on the right side of the earlier
tab and the left side of the latter tab, instead of being on the 'end' side and
'start' side respectively. A screenshot will follow.

2. Bits of the triangles are left behind when you move around with your
selected tab (without having released the mouse). This is an unrelated bug
which you will see manifested in the screenshot, but - please ignore it in the
context of this bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Calc
2. Add a few more sheets, for a total of, say, 4.
3. Select the fourth sheet in the deck.
4. Ensure the sheet direction is RTL (e.g. using the Sheet menu).
5. Hold down your mouse on the 4th sheet's tab in the tab deck
6. Drag the sheet-tab slowly over the other sheet-tabs in the deck

Actual Results:
Triangles drawn on opposite ends of consecutive sheet-tabs.

Expected Results:
Triangles drawn on adjoining ends of consecutive sheet-tabs.

Reproducible: Always

This is what the original sample file looks like in LO Writer 7.1.1. Probably
what Aron mentions.

Not only is the border too small for the content, but also the rounding seems
to have a radius too small.
