same image as before showing 100 zoom

Hi Robert,

It is a bug none the less, this behaviour did not exist prior to version 7.xxx
regardless whether zoomed or not, even more weird if you change the font size
of the table control the font of the active field may either be larger or
smaller. Just odd.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141302] PARAGRAPH: Thin lines between paragraphs after filling area with a colour

Shows seams in borders without using Area fill

@Dieter,

The bug isn't caused by step "3. Set Area to black color" but rather by the
seams between the borders. Area fill was used to easily inspect the problem.

I'm attaching a sample that doesn't use any fill color. It's obviously harder
to spot the problem in this one, but it's still just as unacceptable for
publishing.

Printing is affected too, depending on the printer and the settings. It's
visible on one of my inkject printers and I'll try it on my laser at office
(when I can get there due to Covid restrictions) and report back.

PDF printing (including LO's PDF export) are most seriously affected. Whenever
I use paragraph borders, I almost always have to use OpenOffice to export them
to PDF prior to submitting them.

The original title was more accurate but it's good to see the issue being
accepted.

Tested it with the attached database.
The selected cell in a tablecontrol always show font with 10pt. So you couldn't
see the buggy behavior, if the fonts in tablecontrol are 10pt and the zoom is
100%.
The attached database from Gerhard shows the buggy behavior with zoom 100%,
because the font is set to 12pt and the selected field is shown in 10 pt. If
you set zomm 80% in this example, it won't show the buggy behavior. All fonts
will appear the same height like 10pt with zoom 100%.

I could confirm this buggy behavior with LO 7.1.2.2 on OpenSUSE 15.2 64bit rpm
Linux. The buggy behavior doesn't appear in LO 7.0.5.2 on the same system. So
its a regression.

LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:
https://kiwiirc.com/nextclient/irc.freenode.net/#libreoffice-qa

Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone!

Warm Regards,
QA Team

still produces bug 117160 which leaves a 1-pixel-wide line top and left on a
page when a Draw page has no margins (and I almost never have margins). If it
wasn't for that bug I'd go with hardware rendering and be done with it.

Not sure this answers your question, but I'm using two 1920x1080 standard
resolution (non hi-DPI) monitors on Windows 10, and they're independent, not
set up as a single 3840x1080 group.

Bug ID: 141684
Summary: Groupedbar Compact changes when cursor is in table
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.1.1.2 release
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED

Views of normal and changed toolbar

Steps to reproduce:
1) Use user interface Groupedbar Compact
2) Add table
So far, toolbar is still normal (see libreoffice_focus_page.png)

3) Click anywhere in the table
Toolbar changes (see libreoffice_focus_table.png)

4) Click outside table
Toolbar stays changed

First time clicking in the table might change the Groupedbar Compact to context
(table), but only once.

Scrolling breaks text.

To reproduce:

3. Select text with mouse.
Result: Broken text.

If you press Ctrl-S the screen "fixes" itself.

@Heiko, the other SB decks are recently behaving better for minimum size and
resize, but the Styles Inspector is just too wide. Made worse on Windows when
the os/DE is scaled (bug 128243).

What needs to happen to bring it in line with the other SB decks?

And, still seem to need scroll bars when the deck gets fully populated on a
complex document.

No, I think there are some different issues with the Style Inspector deck, that
is bug 136764, which needs additional work.

The other SB decks do seem to be better behaved at higher UI scaling on recent
builds of master against 7.2

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141683] New: EDITING: Multi range selection pasted transposed as links is not transposed

2021-04-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141683

Bug ID: 141683
Summary: EDITING: Multi range selection pasted transposed as
links is not transposed
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.0.4.2 release
  Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: Calc
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: i...@scito.ch

Description:
When a multi range selection is pasted transposed and as link, then the pasted
links are not transposed. Irrelevant whether rows or columns ranges are
selected.

It works when only pasted transposed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new spreadsheet in Calc
2. Fill the cells A1:C3 with

1 11 111
2 12 112
3 13 113

case columns:
3. Select cells A1:A3
4. Press Ctrl and select cells C1:C3, hence 2 column ranges are selected
5. Goto cell A6
6. Edit > Paste Special > Paste Special > Paste Transposed
7. Goto cell A10
8. Edit > Paste Special > Paste Special > Enable As Link, Enable Transpose and
OK

case rows:
10. Select cells A1:C1
11. Press Ctrl and select A3:C3, hence 2 rows ranges are selected
12. Goto cell A14
13. Edit > Paste Special > Paste Special > Paste Transposed
14. Goto cell A19
15. Edit > Paste Special > Paste Special > Enable As Link, Enable Transpose and
OK

Actual Results:
The values shown after step 6 and 8 are not the same. The links in A10:C11 are
not transposed.

Step 8 shows
1 11 111
3 13 113

The values shown after step 13 and 15 are not the same. The links in A19:B21
are not transposed.

Step 15 shows
1 111
2 112
3 113

Expected Results:
The values shown after step 6 and 8 are the same. The links in A10:C11 are
transposed.

Step 8 shows
1 2 3
111 112 113

The values shown after step 13 and 15 are the same. The links in A19:B21 are
transposed.

Step 15 shows
1 3
11 13
111 113

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

UnsharpenFilter isn't fixed since it's activated only if radius is negative and
UI doesn't allow this.

Still reproducible in 7.2 master. The rtf importer imports the image/thumbnail
rather than the chart. You cannot edit the .rtf chart like the .docx one.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 140708] The REGEX function accepts all (ismx) but one (w) flags and only directly in the regular expression and does not allow all matches to be found at once

2021-04-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=140708

(In reply to Igor from comment #4)
> 1) At least one flag ("i") duplicates the corresponding pattern option.

How is that related to the REGEX() spreadsheet function?

> And how to use the following constants, I still do not understand:
> Const Long REG_NOT_BEGINOFLINE = 0x0800
> Const Long REG_NOT_ENDOFLINE = 0x1000
You don't. The REGEX() function does not use the UNO API's
css::util::SearchFlags.

> And if the analogy with Python is appropriate here, then the approach that I
> described is used there, only the sequence of flags ("ismxw") as a string is

That's not much different to how ICU handles it, is it? Prefixing the pattern
with (?ismxw) does exactly that, and is flexible as it can be switched on/off
at arbitrary positions. I see no benefit of flags parameter arguments that do
the same but only over all.

> 2) REGEX("barbaz";"a";;"g") returns not "aa", but an array of 2 matches {a;
> a},
Makes some sense.

> And if REGEX with the "g" (Global) flag replaces all occurrences, wouldn't
> it be logical to extract all of them also?
At least a possibility ;-)

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 141682] New: accessibility shortcut F6 no longer works

2021-04-13 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141682

Bug ID: 141682
Summary: accessibility shortcut F6 no longer works
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: accessibility, regression
  Severity: major
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: rb.hensc...@t-online.de

Pressing F6 should traverse all toolbars, but it doesn't.
Start Writer or Calc. Press F6. You are in menu bar with focus on 'File'. Press
F6 again. Focus is on close cross of Navigator. Press F6 again. You are in
document. Press F6 again. Focus is again on 'File'.

Expected: Each 'Press F6' sets focus on next toolbar. In LO7.1 the order is
menu, then toolbars, then Navigator, then document.

I see the error in Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 7c6605bd2c1b27c12c4a492921e537eb4bf5a98e
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (en_US); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

It is OK in Version: 7.1.1.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fe0b08f4af1bacafe4c7ecc87ce55bb426164676
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
