My friend is a Windows user. When my friend phone called and asked me about the sidebar, he was very confused by the different icons. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49697 --- Comment #21 from yury.dubin...@gmail.com --- The problem is that the file is encrypted using empty password. - Try to open the file with Draw and enter any string. You will get: "The password is incorrect. The file cannot be opened." - Delete the string making the password field empty and press OK. The file is opened. The password is null. I have many financial statements that are encrypted using empty password. There are reasons, mostly relevant for Adobe products, for using empty passwords. I I also attached a demo PDF encrypted with empty password via qpdf. Programs such as Adobe Reader, Chrome / Chromium, Firefox, Evince, Okular, GIMP, and ImageMagic, and others don't prompt for password when the password is null. Even programs which has problems with PDF decryption such as Imagemagic and Inkscape silently open such files. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Otherwise, selecting different icon theme is a more advanced user customization. We are not obliged to maintain consistent iconography across icon themes. Icon theme designers have chosen three motifs for the 'Sidebar settings' icon: a gear, vertical elipsis, or hamburger. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142450] LibreOffice Writer Configuration + View menu + Normal or Web view
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142450 --- Comment #2 from krumple_sodium --- About bug 135307, so he wants to have Web View renamed to Outline View? To be honest, I don’t understand why it is called Web View either. So, the guy has a point. Perhaps because ordinary HTML pages are like infinite height pages. I don’t need 37817 and that is a request from 2011. I prefer the Outline View mode (or let’s call it infinite height paper) because the page breaks are distracting. I am typing something and suddenly, poof, it jumps a few centimeter down. It is also distracting when I read my own writings. Or perhaps I paste an image. If I start to type something above the image, poof, the image flies to the next page. Writer calculates that there isn’t enough room on the page so it pushes the image to the next page. Again, this makes reading my own stuff difficult. I have a few hundred documents with text and images. So, once in a while, I read them again. I don’t print anything. I don’t need WYSIWYG. Whatever the solution is, the total program state should be saved in a Config.ini. When I leave my house and come back, everything is in its original state. The cups and magazines are in the same exact location. Currently, when you save in the ODT format while it is in Web view, it saves that state in the ODT file. That’s fine but the program should have its own state save as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

Hello.
