[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 145080] make sure, cell selection colors use good contrast when following system highlight color on macOS
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145080 Heiko Tietze changed: What|Removed |Added CC||heiko.tietze@documentfounda ||tion.org --- Comment #3 from Heiko Tietze --- Clearly NAB. Selection color comes from system theme and whether darker or lighter depend on many aspects. Plus, Apple Numbers draw the rectangle in addition to the cell frame and FF uses two frames. You may ask to draw the lines bolder but I'd disagree too as it looks ugly on some other OSes. For example Ubuntu with the orange highlight is quite nice with the current solution and would be overly bold if made more obtrusive. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 145085] New: HYPERLINK() inserts inactive link info in second cell when part of array formula
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145085 Bug ID: 145085 Summary: HYPERLINK() inserts inactive link info in second cell when part of array formula Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.2.1.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: joshua_coppersm...@hotmail.com Description: When the LO Calc function HYPERLINK is used within a cell that is treated as an array formula (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) the text to display shows up in the cell as expected but the text of the Url shows up in the cell below as part of a two-cell array. The lower cell text does not respond to Ctrl+Click and does not show a tool tip popup about Ctrl+Click. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Type =HYPERLINK("#A1","Click me") into the input line (address bar) 2.Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter Actual Results: Click me #A1 in two different cells auto-fixed as a two-cell array formula Expected Results: Click me alone with no spill to the lower cell Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: 1. Any information already in the lower cell before performing the steps above will be deleted and replaced with no prompt or warning. 2. This is not a minor inconvenience when creating hyperlinked reports that aggregate data using array formulas since it then requires significant reformatting to hide alternating rows, which cannot be done automatically without macro intervention, and is undone by any row height adjustment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Yes, that is what I have discovered as well. > Maybe I'm mistaken, but from what I can tell, the 'for (SwTextFootnote* > pTextFootnote : rFootnoteIdxs)' loop is iterating through all > footnotes/endnotes for every edit. Yep, every second when focus is in the document it is filled and checked against the content in the tree to determine if a change was made in the document. See IMPL_LINK_NOARG(SwContentTree, TimerUpdate, Timer *, void) and SwContentTree::HasContentChanged() > Might it be possible and more efficient > to only do that on only an insertion or deletion of a footnote/endnote and > only change the specific footnote/endnote on an edit. Might be possible and definitely would be more efficient. Same goes for all the other member lists. I optimizing the Footnote member list code but chrono tests showed no improvement in the effort. The big time consumer is the GetFootnoteText call. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 145084] New: Report Builder stalls after 1st or 2nd field is entered
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=145084 Bug ID: 145084 Summary: Report Builder stalls after 1st or 2nd field is entered Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Base Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: rcdaw...@att.net Running 7,.2.1.2 on Kubutu 20.04. Creating labels with Avery label # 5160. After entering a field into the label, the cursor disappears, so I cannot enter anything more with the keyboard. I tried hitting the enter key, hitting the escape key, hitting the tap key, pounding on keys at random, and swearing profusely. None of these actions brought the cursor back. Sometimes the cursor disappears after the first field entry, sometimes after the second or subsequent field. I may have managed to get in three fields in one attempt to create the label. Once the cursor disappears, I can still enter more fields, but they are inserted immediately after the most recently entered field, on the same line. I transferred the same database to a different machine running Kubuntu 20.04 and LibreOffice 6.4.72. I was able to create the labels on that machine without a problem. I tried using a couple different Avery label forms, all with the same result, so the problem doesn't appear to be in a particular template. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Maybe we can > add a filter to the top of the list? Or change it to a treeview? Or apply > some pseudosorting like the most common are at the top, then the others > follow alphabetically? Some solution must be found here indeed. Some related comments of Heiko Bug 145037 comment 2: Heiko Tietze "Ultimately I would limit the list to the last used n item (or even better animations including other attributes). See also bug 145038" bug 145038 comment 2: Heiko Tietze Don't like the idea. The dialog would just rearrange the controls, maybe provide a better overview of the effects but nothing beyond. The idea of the sidebar is to quickly access the most frequently used attributes while the full power of LibreOffice is presented in dialogs. So I'd rather think about simplifying the sidebar - could be done if we have "animation styles" (a template/preset to all settings) and show only these and limited to the last n used. --- Sidenote: I have tendency to put the various idea's/proposed into different reports. With the advantage of getting a response to every ticket with long thread and a confusing debate, but with the cost that certain idea's get sprinkled across different bugs. So in the end some 'cumulative bug report must be created replacing the dozen of mine (IMHO) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 137113] LO Calc Data - Validity - Cell Range / LIST - Selection List - Typing Selection is NOT working
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137113 --- Comment #7 from Grobe --- Tested again today. Unfornately after I tested some more, my previous assumption turned out being wrong, please disregard my last post. Today I was attempting to record the screen to show what it appears like, but I had to log in using X11 instead of Wayland to be able to record the screen. Then I observed that while under X11 I was not able to reproduce at all. However, I found a new behaviour under X11 - on some cells, after hitting Alt + Key Down, Calc would simply not respond to any normal keyboard inputs until selected something else (either from the validatidy list or another cell). After this behaviour for typical three to five times, it all of a sudden behaved normally again. After logging out and into Wayland (the default for Fedora), I was able to reproduce the behaviour of Calc inserting some wrong value from validity list. However, the behaviour seems very inconsistent. It appear to have some behaviours in addition: * Can react (slightly tendencys to trigger the behaviour when) to resizing of windows, or activate some other programs and then going back to the Calc window. * More probably happens if the program window is not maximum size. Also observed when on Wayland: When Calc window are made smaller and placed in the upper part of the screen, the little box that review the keyboard input have a tendency of placing itself much lower on the screen and way outside the Calc window. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
