[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 103866] Formula Vertical Alignment issue
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103866 sdc.bla...@youmail.dk changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- Comment #27 from sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- Just curious, have you - - tried editing the properties of the Formula frames? - used some of the alignment features in the Formula editor (see Math Guide 7.2 at https://documentation.libreoffice.org/en/english-documentation/) - searched in http://ask.libreoffice.org, or asked for help there with a specific example? I ask these innocent questions because the Steps to Reproduce provided in comment 0 seems to indicate a (false) expectation that formulas are always aligned automatically. If that speculation is true, then maybe you should be pursuing those lines. On the other hand, if you think there is a specific bug with formula alignment then it may be better to attach an .odt document with an actual example of misalignment, where you explain here in detail how you created the example (e.g., modifications to the formula frame, etc.), and identify precisely what was expected in that example and what does not fit your expectations. I looked at the two recent attachments, but without knowing what you did to create the examples (and what you expect to see), then it is impossible to know if there is a genuine problem with the software, or an honest misunderstanding about how to use it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 86297] Wrong Field reference when heading is in a frame
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86297 --- Comment #12 from Jim Raykowski --- Referring to attachment 'Problems with Chapters in frames, added sub-chapters do demonstrate related Navigator issues' The reason for 'Chapter 1.1' showing in the Headings entries before 'Chapter One' is both are considered to have the same document Y position. The Y position of headings in a frame are determined by the frame's anchor position. The frame containing 'Chapter One' is paragraph anchored at 'Chapter 1.1' paragraph. In this case alphabetical sorting is used. Changing 'Chapter One' to 'Chapter 1' will show 'Chapter 1' before 'Chapter 1.1' in the Headings entries. When the frame anchor is moved into the header paragraph 'Chapter One' is placed before 'Chapter 1.1'. Currently chapters in a frame are ordered alphabetically because the frame anchor position is used to determine document position for these. Why the frame is considered to be in the header when it is anchored to the first paragraph in the document body I do not know. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148527] Mouse scrolling inconsistent in Calc

I expect it will act as the wired mice and the M510v2. ** Only these two mice have fast/freewheel mode. Unifying Receiver A: (MX Master 3, M705[++], M510v2) Path : /dev/hidraw1 USB ID : 046d:C52B Serial : 56099AD8 Firmware : 12.11.B0032 Bootloader : 04.16 Other : AA.AA Unifying Receiver B: (MX Master 3[++], M705, M510v2) Path : /dev/hidraw1 USB ID : 046d:C52B Serial : E05593CA Bootloader : BOT 95.01.B0015 Firmware : MPM 19.01.B0015 Other : Unifying Receiver C: (MX Master 3, M705, M510v2[++]) Path : /dev/hidraw1 USB ID : 046d:C52B Serial : 7FC9DEE6 Firmware : 12.11.B0032 Bootloader : 04.16 Other : AA.AA [++] indicates the mouse this UR was paired with in the respective package. [**] slow scrolling issue in both freewheel and ratchet modes; BUT fast freewheel scrolling (via finger flick) works fine. [1] Down scrolling is as reported. However, scrolling this bug report in Firefox Nightly 101.0a1 is smooth in both directions, as in any other application, including within oocalc's font/font-size selectors, Gallery>Diagrams, or anything else that is scrollable in oocalc. [2] No freewheel mode on this one. [3] This mouse can be paired with 3 receivers -- any combination of UR and/or Bluetooth to 1, 2 or 3 computers; there's a selector to switch between hosts. [4] The Logitech M510v2 wireless mouse does not have fast/freewheel mode, so it acts just like the wired mice. [5] Scrolling down fails in both freewheel and ratchet modes. HTH... LOL... I'm reminded of "be careful what you ask for". Seriously, the only common denominator (so far) is fast/freewheel capable mice. Ruminating... This reminds me of interrupt handlers that don't re-enable interrupts fast enough; but will keep processing queued ones without have to re-enable because there's still work to do... Does calc have code that is "uninterruptable" (some form of software lock)? But darn, this is a super fast machine... Other than positive/negative values for direction, scrolling should be using the same code paths... hmm... are they? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Compare the first tables indent and cell margin settings in Word and Writer: it has 0 cm left indent, 0.5 cm left margin and 0.3 cm right margin set. When opened in Writer it has -1 cm left spacing (double of the 0.5 cm left padding extracted from the 0 left indent) 3. Compare the second tables indent and cell margin settings in Word and Writer: it has 1.5 cm left indent, 0.35 cm left margin and 0.3 cm right margin set. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148527] Mouse scrolling inconsistent in Calc
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148527 --- Comment #2 from Pierre Fortin --- More info... This issue occurs regardless of mouse or its communication mode via: - Logitech Unifying Receiver - Bluetooth Problem does not occur on LO 7.2.5.2.0+ running on Dell M6800 laptop running Mageia 8. However, if I ssh from mga9 system to mga8 and start LO remotely, the problem occurs. So the issue seems localized to whatever LO 7.3.1.3 component(s) is needed to display spreadsheet locally. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148519] Change "Margin" to "Entire Frame" in "to" field for Vertical Position when anchoring "To frame" in Position and Shape tab
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148519 --- Comment #1 from sdc.bla...@youmail.dk --- Revised suggestion. (for Type tab - Image): Entire frame --> Frame border (for Position and Size tab - Shape): Margin -> Frame border Reasons: 1. "Frame border" may be the "standard" terminology. 2. Border tab exists in Frame, so some users will know about Frame border. 3. The Horizontal Position "to" field has "Left frame border" and "Right frame border". (best reason) because gives internal consistency to the dialogs, and makes it easier to recognize likely meaning of "frame border" vs. "frame text area". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 69795] Macros: Copying a cell form one table to another looks different on Windows
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69795 Andreas Heinisch changed: What|Removed |Added Assignee|andreas.heini...@yahoo.de |libreoffice-b...@lists.free ||desktop.org CC||andreas.heini...@yahoo.de Status|ASSIGNED|NEW --- Comment #16 from Andreas Heinisch --- After digging more into the code, I think this is not a bug. The string of the content will be retrieved in SwUnoCursorHelper::GetTextFromPam [1] using the system line ending (LINEEND_CRLF for Windows, LINEEND_CR for Linux) from a PaM. Assigning that string will then lead to different results, since they will be interpreted differently from either OS. So Imho, you may parse the result of the string retrieval and check parse the contents inserting manual paragraphs or new lines.
