https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150251 --- Comment #3 from Werner Tietz --- @Julien Nabet: At the moment rather not, to me the effort for a registration on 'gerrit' is a bit disproportionate to write literally a `dot` into a file. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150229 --- Comment #4 from Mike Kaganski --- (In reply to Eike Rathke from comment #2) I can't tell if this is applicable (or if my test shows Excel storing those strings in a different internal structure, and thus comparing apples to oranges?), but MS Excel 2016 allows storing that long URLs also in XLS. So at least in this case, a *possible* fix could be to just increase the limit for all uses. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 133388] Images stacked onto each other are hard to separate (the move in tandem); on insertion on top of each other (see comment 4)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133388 --- Comment #8 from QA Administrators --- Dear Telesto, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 150255] New: FILEOPEN: DOCX Drawing objects / shapes from Microsoft Word are misplaced on the page
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150255 Bug ID: 150255 Summary: FILEOPEN: DOCX Drawing objects / shapes from Microsoft Word are misplaced on the page Product: LibreOffice Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: joaopauloag-freedesk...@yahoo.com.br Description: A document with grouped shapes / drawings created with Microsoft Word has the drawings / shapes incorrectly positioned when opened with LibreOffice Writer. The document has 12 shapes / drawings grouped together, the uppermost drawings should be on top of the page and the downmost drawings should be on the bottom on the page (see "PDF created with Word.pdf"), but LibreOffice Writer puts them almost an inch from the top and from the bottom (see "PDF created with LibreOffice Writer"). Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the "PDF created with Word.pdf" to see how the Word document is supposed to look like. 2. Open the "Word original document.docx" with LibreOffice Writer. 2. Verify the shapes / drawings positions differ from the PDF generated with Word. Actual Results: The "PDF created with LibreOffice Writer.pdf" shows how the shapes / drawings appear inside LibreOffice Writer. Expected Results: LibreOffice should show the shapes / drawings as in "PDF created with Word.pdf". Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: I can fix this by using Microsoft Word to ungroup the shapes / drawings in the original document and saving, LibreOffice Writer opens the document and shows the shapes in the positions they should be (see "Word fixed document.docx"). However, not everyone has Microsoft Word to edit (or fix) the document, so this workaround is less than ideal. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 150250] New: FILESAVE XLSX Comment box inner spacing not saved
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=150250 Bug ID: 150250 Summary: FILESAVE XLSX Comment box inner spacing not saved Product: LibreOffice Version: Master old -3.6 Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: kelem...@ubuntu.com Blocks: 127172 Created attachment 181565 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=181565=edit Example file from Calc Attached file contains two comment boxes with some text. For the first, I set custom spacing to borders, for the second I left the defaults. When saved to XLSX and reloaded, these are lost and replaced with default values. In Excel, these defaults are greater than in Calc, so the text does not fit inside the comment boxes anymore. 1. Open attached file, it has two comment boxes. First one (A1) has Left: 0.2 cm, Right: 0.3 cm, Top: 0 cm, Bottom: 0.15 cm. The second one (A9) has default 0.1 cm for all. See Format - Text box and Shape - Text dialog. 2. Save as XLSX and open it: 2/A: in Calc both boxes have 0.1 cm borders. 2/B: in Excel both boxes have 0.25 cm left/right and 0.13 cm top/bottom internal margins. Version: 7.5.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 86b2bfd34a4f07c54f03c8c8dfe48e0810834628 CPU threads: 14; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (hu_HU); UI: en-US Calc: threaded and all the way back to 6.0, 4.0, 3.5 - this was never good.
