Yes. I am looking for a way to edit raw dictionary. This will be useful for
non-english languages where not all words are added or their tags are wrong. In
case of Asian Languages a single tag can replace hundreds of words in my custom
dictionary.

Dear barrymogridge,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not
appropriate in this case)

If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat:

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 132598] FILEOPEN DOC or DOCX: Overlapping tables

2022-11-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132598

Dear Rhys Young,

4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 151926] New: Preview thumbnails should be able to have their size changed, and should be stored as an image file.

2022-11-05 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=151926

Bug ID: 151926
Summary: Preview thumbnails should be able to have their size
changed, and should be stored as an image file.
   Product: LibreOffice
   Version: unspecified
  Hardware: x86 (IA32)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: enhancement
  Priority: medium
 Component: LibreOffice
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: leneka.pilar...@gmail.com

Description:
The preview image of recent documents in LibreOffice should have a sizing
option. The largest benefit for being able to make the thumbnails larger or
smaller would be for people who have bad eyesight. A small image may be
difficult for many users to see the preview.
However my personal stake in this is that I recently lost a file I was working
on when it was accidentally permanently deleted from the computer with no back
up. The only remnant of the file is the image captured in the preview. Being
able to see the writing in the captured image and so being able to copy it,
would go a long way towards me having to rewrite all that was lost. However the
text in the thumbnail preview is so small that its little more than squiggles
on the screen.
I also firmly believe that if there is a preview image, there should be a file
in the program files with the thumbnail image in a format that could be opened
like a regular image file. A .png.

Actual Results:
na

Expected Results:
Being able to resize thumbnails, being able to open thumbnails as picture files

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I've also been experiencing this "white lines on the bottom and right edges"
issue for years, but just for the record, as I didn't see this information
mentioned previously: it occurs both on a X11/Xorg GNOME session and on a
Wayland GNOME session, whether in regular 1920x1080 or on a 4K screen, whether
it's a single screen or a multi-monitors setup. I've seen it occur both on
Fedora 35 and 37, with LibreOffice 7.4.2.3 and every previous version of
LibreOffice that I can remember. So I doubt there's something related to window
management or display server type going on.

paragraphs - it disappears. Editing works, but you don't see the cursor. In the
whittled-down document I'm attaching I see this mostly on the last paragraph
(which says חיפה, 6 בנובמבר 2022). When I had more content in the document, I
saw it in other paragraphs, e.g. the one with אל תדאג אמר הדג.

I still see this issue with one exception:

1) Make change in xls file and save as xls and all UPC numbers become
0(actually 0.0) in xlrd.

2) Open xls file save as ods then change the file and save as xls now also
results in the UPC's showing up as 0.0 when read by xlrd whereas before they
did not change.

3) Opens as xls save as xlsx still works in that the UPC's are preserved when
read by xlrd.

The Default Languages part is not the only one, which affects the current
document. See bug 144814 for a discussion about such problems.

And for language related problems see bug 104318 and a collection of problems
in bug 112139.

I still think, that we should at least write the help text so, that the user is
clear about the impacts of these settings. That would be for LO 7.4 and 7.5.
Any change in functionality will likely not be ready in 7.5.
