[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 47351] Improper kerning of subscripts for italic characters
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47351 --- Comment #13 from LibreTraining --- The created italic superscript and subscript characters should shift up or down along the italic angle. Right now they are going straight up or down. Attached is a comparison of the faked Liberation Serif superscript and the real Calibri superscript. Note how the faked Liberation Serif superscript moves straight up and collides with the H. It should move up and to the right along the italic angle. With Calibri you can see how the superscript K moves up and right. Actually it is just like the top half of any italic character, which going to be shifted in the box. And the subscript looks to far away as it should shift to the left. See screenshot: Fake-sups-vs-real-sups -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152282 --- Comment #2 from خالد حسني --- That was added by me. Currently Qt font backend is lacking compared to other backends, and variable fonts is ine such missing feature. I was under the impression, though, that Qt fint backend is not generally used and qt VCL plugin(s) use the same font backend as the gen and gtk plugins, so I wasn't expecting anyone to see this warning. May be I xan tune down the warning a bit e.g. show it inly if it is actually a variable font, but Qt don't seem to have any API for dealing with variable fonts, so I’ll need to think of something. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108551 dldld changed: What|Removed |Added CC||daniel-...@web.de Status|NEW |NEEDINFO --- Comment #17 from dldld --- Hi Michael Meeks, I tried to understand this bug report. So there is no presenter console shown on the laptop screen but the slide is being displayed on both screens. And the screens are not mirrored. How is your configuration to achieve this situation because I could not find an option to have the same slide being displayed on multiple screens in Libre Office without spanning all monitors. I tried setting the presentation to span all monitors but there I had no issue with the location of the pointer. I have rotated also one of my monitors by 90° as suggested but I was not able to reproduce the issue on the latest master version. Furthermore, I see this bug report is set to the component "Android Remote App" which does not make sense if there is a difference between the laptop and projector screen because the remote app does only send one location, which is then drawn on maybe multiple screens. As I have fixed a similar bug I would be interested in trying to reproduce it to see if it is maybe already fixed. The bug which I have fixed, was that the pointer was not in correct location in the presenter console. 54681a12b38db29b4d65e3c4f4c52a12436965d0 https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/143341 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152277] New: window state of styles does not save
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152277 Bug ID: 152277 Summary: window state of styles does not save Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.4.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: goodgu...@zoho.com Description: docked styles in sidebar. setting anything else but 'hierarchical' works fine (eg 'custom styles'), after closing writer and reopening, it kept the state. but after changing to 'hierarchical' (close and reopen writer), another filter is not remembered anymore. writer will always show 'hierarchical'. Steps to Reproduce: 1. open writer, set styles filter to 'hierarchical', close writer 2. open writer, set styles filter to 'custom styles', close writer 3. open writer, it will show filter 'hierarchical' Actual Results: after ever chaning styles filter to 'hierarchical', it will never remember a different filter setting (this has been working fine in previous versions, but since some time (and i can't remember what version) it doesn't anymore) Expected Results: remember the filter set, eg 'custom styles' Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: fortunately, file registrymodifications.xcu is a plain xml-file and can be edited. i pinned it down to which's value other than '4096' (translates to 'hierarchical') is always set properly, ie '3' translates to 'custom styles' or '5' translates to 'text styles'. once 4096 appears, it's not changed ever again. ==> my workaround: avoid setting 'hierarchical', but once it happens, change the value back to eg. '3' manually in the file. not nice, but i can live with it. it cost me only some time to find out. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
