Actually that doesn't really make sense... firebird3.0 "encapsulates" ICU and that one does have a dependency on what ICU it uses. That *Could not find acceptable ICU library *Missing entrypoint in ICU library is thrown when it doesn't find the ICU it was built with. but when you had firebird3.0-server-core from stable installed you should have gotten stables ICU for firebird. Then again in comment #3 you say "Now I just noticed I got firebird3.0-common. I uninstall all firebird things so including libreoffice-sdbc-firebird." which suggests it was not installed, as wasn't libreoffice-sdbc-firebird. Need to think about this - but not today. In comment #5 you say: "deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ stable main deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main" so apt gets your packages from stable. And only from stable. testing here is only for *source* packages. In comment #1 you say: "Debian package version: 1:7.4.3-2" which is testings version nudged onto stable somehow. DO NOT DO that. se backports if you need a newer LO (7.4.3 will appear there soonish, it just migrated the weekend and the backports rules say backports come from testing, and if people and reports like this don't waste time so I can't do that in an timely fashion) And testing is not "what will be added in stable somewhen", but "what will be released as stable as a whole". > Reinstalling libreoffice-sdbc-firebird, I see: > Les paquets supplémentaires suivants seront installés : > firebird3.0-common firebird3.0-common-doc firebird3.0-server-core > firebird3.0-utils libfbclient2 libib-util libicu67 > Paquets suggérés : > firebird3.0-server firebird3.0-doc >Les NOUVEAUX paquets suivants seront installés : > firebird3.0-common firebird3.0-common-doc firebird3.0-server-core > firebird3.0-utils libfbclient2 libib-util libicu67 libreoffice-sdbc-firebird > > so it seems it's related with libicu67 in some way? Of courses. Testings version of is built against libicu72. Both LO and firebird. One might argue the dependency in libreoffice-sdbc-firebird to firebird3.0-server-core is too lax but that can be fixed. (Well, worked around since it's hardcoded and I don't get the info what firebird3.0 is built against.) For now I'll just depend on 3.0.11.33637.ds4-2+b1 as a quick workaround (which is the firebird version built against ICU 72) Still you don't want all that new libs etc. on your stable. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 152383] New: While presenting, switching between 2 screens is possible, not between 3 screens
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=152383 Bug ID: 152383 Summary: While presenting, switching between 2 screens is possible, not between 3 screens Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.3.6.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: hol...@jakobs.com Description: I normally use 3 screens, sharing one of them in a video conference. When I start presenting, it occurs that the controlling interface of Libreoffice is full screen on screen one and the presentation itself on screen two, while I am sharing screen three. Therefore I would like to have the controlling interface enhanced so that switching between all existing screens becomes possible. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect two external monitors to your notebook 2. Start Impress 3. Start presenting mode Now try to get the presentation on the screen which is not occupied. Actual Results: No way to move the presentation from one screen to another. Only switching between controls an presentation is possible - not to screen three. Expected Results: There should be a way of switching between all existing monitors. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: There should be a way of switching between all existing monitors. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 146395] Input field for QR Code does not allow newlines
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=146395 Christopher Köbel changed: What|Removed |Added Version|7.1.5.2 release |7.4.3.2 release OS|All |Windows (All) Hardware|All |x86-64 (AMD64) --- Comment #8 from Christopher Köbel --- Just wanted to confirm that the problem of "only single-line QR codes" still persists in LO 7.4.3.2 on Win/x64 and give this bug a boost: To shed some light on why newlines in QR codes are important to users: When using LO to write invoices or allow for a quick donation through a SEPA direct bank transfer, it'd be awesome to be able to generate a corresponding EPC (European Payment Code; cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPC_QR_code ) QR code, which follows a fixed format that absolutely depends on the LF line feed (Alt+010) character to split data fields. Some banking apps will also read EPC codes using CR (Alt+013) or a combined CR/LF, but most will not. So that's one use case where LO could be one step ahead before MSO because the guys from Richmond don't get this right either (I have been discussing this, in German, on my freelance translator blog https://www.defrent.de/2021/04/eqc-qr-codes-in-ms-word/, where several more-or-less successful workarounds have been proposed by readers). Being able to piece a QR code together from Calc cells or Writer fields would further improve LO over and above the ability to manually enter a multi-line QR code, but that alone would be a real plus, given that feeding possibly sensitive and GDPR-relevant payment data should not be given to online QR image generators. Cheers, Christopher -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
