Except buying MsOffice or finding someone who has MsOffice to save the original file in docx (which is more recent) or even better in odt (the native file of LO), I don't have idea too. For the moment, I have no clue as to how to understand or solve my problem Libre Office destroys my original files as soon as I save them in Word 97-2003 format, reducing their size from several MB to a few KB, and does not accept that I use Libre Office's own ODT format. The files and screenshots I've sent you are in response to your request. This is a new situation ... I've been using your application for several years now. I've just tried it out on an old computer running Windows 7 and Word 97-2003, and the files are visible, editable and can be saved without fail. My problem remains unsolved ! DM - 803 - Sceance2 with odt format (
Here's the DM - 803 - Sceance2.doc converted into odt format with LO 7.4.7.2 on
pc Debian x86-64.
I could reopen the odt file but I must recognize I didn't compare both versions
to see if they were identical.
First and second attachements ("Reply 1" and "Reply 2" are identical, it's a
76kb doc file which seems corrupted).
