it seems to be a problem in the font, not in LibreOffice. Please see the
attached screenshot. Closing as RESOLVED NOTOURBUG

Ok, I tracked it down to just appearing with Linux-Libertine fonts (also
Biolinum). Setting paragraph template “TOC 1” to Liberation, displays the dots
correctly – setting it back to a Libertine font, leads to this uneven spacing.

This bug was incorrectly moved from NEEDINFO to NEW by the reporter.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

This just happens to older documents, as far as I tried out. When I create a
new file with a TOC, the dots are aligned well. But I don't know if the TOC
will get corrupted at some point, or if it's due to the TOC being created not
right at the beginning (time-related) of the document.

I see no "Non-uniform distance between dots." Can you please add an example
document and a screenshot of the TOC, where you mark the problem?
