FIW, the formula is not imported as a Math formula, but as a vector image, so
Formula Editor is probably not involved at all here.

I think this is unnecessary, since TexMaths extension added support for
XeLaTeX, which is able to produce such formulas.

Sorry for late responce. W3C has a documentation for this.

According to the date this is published in 3 years later after MathML 2.0
published, so I think this is available in MML 2.0 and we can try it.

We can also allowing √ presented its mirror forms in RTL direction activated,
otherwise (if a font does not support it) forced mirrored it on screen.
