I tried to reproduce in a recent build and was not able to. After adding the
illegal file I get the warning message but the application does not hang. 

Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+

Well, it is the error message that says Java is needed that causes the crash.

I'm not an expert, but as far as I know it is necessary to install Java 64Bit,
if you work with the 64Bit-version of LO (once I had some problems with Java
too, because of that reason). So does the crash also occur with Java 64Bit? =>
Set to NEEDINFO. Please change it back to UNCONFIRMED if the crash still
ocuurs.
