I re-tested both attached documents in LO6.1.0 beta2 and the released LO 6.0.5
on Win64 and both worked for me there too with respect to PDF export.
(So ignore my above question about backporting ...)

What still does not work is the correct import of such documents (containing
cropped OOC photos) created from Gramps. Obviously this is a separate issue
which should be tackled in a separate ticket.

Are there any chances the responsible bug fix gets backported to the 6.1 or 6.0
branch?
(I spent literally hours working around this bug today on the current LO
6.0.5.)

P.S. Is "WORKSFORME" really the right solution here? It did not work on the
version it was reported for but obviously was fixed since. (I did not yet test
6.2 alpha myself.)

I tried to read the Gramps report in LibreOffice 6.04, but after scrolling to
the second page, Writer crashed.

I tried it twice, it happened both times. I submitted the crash report.

Thanks, I repro. In 3.6 it is fine.

(In reply to Buovjaga from comment #6)
I don't think it's this easy. The question is not if the document was created
inside LO or not, the question is imho rather whether this document in question
is valid in respect to the OpenDocument format.

If it is valid it should be read correctly no matter what its source is.

Besides, I was easily able to create a document in LibreOffice, which also
shows a difference between display and PDF export.

Your bug, clearly.

Can you create an ODT with the same problem purely inside LibreOffice?
Otherwise this is pretty much not our bug.
