[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 114857] EDITING Can't see cursor when background is dark/black
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114857 --- Comment #9 from bunkem --- This issue still exists in LO 6.3alpha. Any idea when this might be fixed? It is impossible to use the cross hair cursor when drawing a shape etc. when you have a dark background. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 114857] EDITING Can't see cursor when background is dark/black
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114857 --- Comment #8 from bunkem --- I don't agree that this is an enhancement. While I can see the logic behind this category, that is to say it doesn't cause LO to crash, it still makes Impress nearly unfunctional when working with presentations that have dark backgrounds. This is a small item but big from a marketing & usability standpoint. The transition to LO from other products should be easy and in particular there shouldn't be anything cosmetic that causes people to switch back because the product is unusable in certain use cases. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114857 --- Comment #6 from bunkem --- This problem still exists in 6.2alpha. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 114857] EDITING Can't see cursor when background is dark/black
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114857 Alex Thurgoodchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW Ever confirmed|0 |1 Severity|normal |enhancement --- Comment #5 from Alex Thurgood --- Confirming with Version: 6.1.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 5b7ec49f453c3732e2482b26bce4243eb1a10f40 CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.13.2; UI render: default; Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded The really annoying thing about this is that the behaviour is : 1) wrong : for some shapes, e.g. ellipse and rectangle, the cross-hairs are displayed with a contrast border once you have started to draw the object (i.e. click and drag of the mouse button) - however, the user has no idea where the left hand corner of the shape object boundary is actually going to be placed as it is invisible on first placement ; 2) inconsistent : Bezier curve objects, for example, never display the cross-hairs in contrast. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
