There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Spell check isn't working. I turn it on and turn it off and turn it on again. I type jiberish and nothing is getting underlined. I have an attachment showing that autospell is on and that no words in the document are underlined. Perhaps I am missing something. I can therefore finish the correction. If mouse pointer is on the left or above or below a mispelled word, the context menu with copy and paste appears. It doesn't matter if the cursor is before, after or within the word. Perhaps step 2 may be a problem. You need not perform this step if Automatic Spell checking is already enabled. Furthermore at step 4 there is a mistake in my original description. Correct is: [4] Insert a misspellt word followed by a space. The word is underlined with a red(!) wavy line.
