All of the libreoffice versions to date contained this error. But looking at your specifications, I updated from 6.2.3.2 to 6.2.4.2. (X64). succesful. Resolved. Adjusting the Text box text's Character property to expand from -2.0 to 0.0 and to 1.0 renders cleanly in slide show at each setting tested in all modes. So, NEEDINFO still to Egon.
