Hi Xisco,

I am running Ubuntu 21.10, & LibreOffice 7.2.2.2; I tried upgrading LibreOffice
with Synaptic, but I still have the same version.

In the first attached file, I created a 'book' with two chapters, both are
open.

I close the file, reopen it, only one chapter is open.  

As I noted originally, when I am working on a book with 20 chapters, with
multiple sections, and occasionally sub-sections, and I close the file, when I
reopen most/all of the chapters are closed.  

Getting it back into working condition with everything open takes a while,
costs me time.

Would implementing the request of bug 58192 solve this for you?

Of course we can cram more and more state data into documents, but I think we
should draw the line somewhere.
