https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127841 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|UNCONFIRMED Ever confirmed|1 |0 OS|All |Linux (All) --- Comment #3 from V Stuart Foote --- OP responded in PM: Further to your comments I have this morning upgraded my LibreOffice to 6.3.2.2 over 6.3.1 on my W10 workstation and the previous behaviour wasnt reapeted. I think the problem was with ZoneAlarm which I have uninstalled and it made a major difference to the overall system performance and the completed LO installation did Not hang on reboot & login. All went smoothly & the installed programs working fine now. Conclusion: Za was the culprit in combination with attempting to install LibreOffice 6.3.2.2. Removal of ZA fixed the issue on W10 **The installation problems I reported on Linux MINT remain a problem. Back to Linux only. But,as Julien notes, you'll have to resolve package dependencies yourself--or wait for the distribution to package them, or use a PPA--not sure one is running for the LTS 18 based MINT 19.2 that Tina delivers. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127841 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mikekagan...@hotmail.com, ||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- Comment #2 from V Stuart Foote --- A number of potential things could gum up the upgrade install on Windows, especially is you an instance of soffice.bin running with the QuickStart feature. I just now did an upgrade from 6.3.1.2 to 6.3.2.2 with no issues other than the now common notice to restart because system components needing to be updated were in use. None the less the update / restart goes smoothly. Not to say there is no issue, but we would need a verbose log of your installation (i.e. run rom a command windows as administrator with msiexec.exe, and capturing a log with a "/L*v logfileName.txt") to have a look. You probably also should have a look in the system event viewer while the install was running to see if there are any hints of the conflicts there. =-install-= Windows 10 Home 64-bit en-US (1903) with Version: 6.3.2.2 (x64) Build ID: 98b30e735bda24bc04ab42594c85f7fd8be07b9c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

On Debian (which Linux Mint derives from) testing, LO package is 6.3.2.1. About Windows, it's another story could you describe the pb? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
