Although I was not able to come up with a repeatably test case for you to use, I recently updated macOS to version 10.15.5 and the problem no longer occurs. Most likely the problem was relaated to an issue within macOS that was resolved in the update. That can make it easier to replicate, as I'm not sure that many have files with macros laying around 6.3 is still supported (6.3.6 is now out), but there is also a version 6.4.3 that you could try: https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ Long shot, but I see you're on Catalina that has some issues: Does the problem go away if you grant LO Full Disk Access?
