Bugs are fixed if a developer is paid for fixing it or if a developer enjoys fixing it in his spare time. In case a bug has a lot of duplicates or has a lot of people in CC, then such bug is proposed to be included in a tender from TDF, but that is not the case here. In case of the flowchart, the text boxes are not empty but have white font color on white background. The "automatic" setting does not work. You can workaround the problem, if in Word use a dedicated color other than pure white or black for the font. Text from the boxes in the SmartArt chart did not render as well as the outline on the boxes themselves.
