The symbol 'matrix' corresponds to the  element in MathML.

To get a table with lines between the rows and columns, it would be needed to
implement its attributes 'frame', 'rowlines' and 'columnlines'.

It is a valid feature request.

It's a good idea, but it wold be very hardcore for someone handwritting
something like that. There are tones of parameters (border style, cell
background, merge cells, ...). I don't really see how to implement it in a
human understable way. If you come with any idea let me know.
