God yes, it's the same... and I did not realize things are MUCH worse with scalable square roots symbols they display in a totally wrong and disjointed position, just over their content. I realized it now since I had to work on some slides with square roots on them. In fact, this is sadly making LO7 unusable for presentations involving math formulas. Hope this can be solved soon, at the moment as a workaround I have to copy each formula in writer, then paste special it back in a bitmap format, while keeping the original formula in the empty space surrounding the slide for future editing.
