Question 1 IS a bug, question 2 is a question for IMPROVEMENT. Is it really a good solution to have to enter a different page in the printer dialog than the one displayed in the document? That is exactly the problem. If I have a document that consists of only a few pages, it's not a problem. But if I have a document (or many documents) that consists of very many pages, then it is very cumbersome to figure out which page number I need to type in to print a desired single page or export it as a PDF.
